Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or spray it with nonstick baking spray.
Step 3
Add the strawberry pie filling to the bottom of the baking dish (both cans), and using a rubber spatula, spread it evenly over the surface of the dish.
Step 4
Add dollops of the whipped cream cheese on top of the pie filling.
Step 5
Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl. Then stir in the cake mix into the butter with a fork until it’s wet combined and crumbly.
Step 6
Pour the cake mix and butter mixture on top of the cream cheese dollops and spread out as evenly as possible.
Step 7
Bake the Strawberry Dump Cake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Step 8
Remove the cake from the oven and let it just slightly cool on a cooling rack.
Step 9
Scoop cake into bowls, top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Garnish with fresh sliced strawberries. Serve warm and enjoy!
