Cut the apples into chunks, then add to a blender with eggs, cocoa powder and optionally baking powder. Blend on high until smooth and free of lumps. Optionally, you can add 2 to 3 tablespoons of maple syrup for sweeter brownies.

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and spread it out evenly with the help of a spatula.
