Step 1
Boil sausages until cooked. Once cooled, skin sausages and slice into preferred thickness.Line the base of a 3 litre casserole dish with sausage slices.
Step 2
Cook onion in olive oil until translucent. Add bacon and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add tinned tomatoes and worcestershire sauce. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Pour over the top of the sausages.
Step 3
Boil potatoes until cooked. Drain and mash. Mix in preferred amount of sour cream (I usually use about half a 250g tub) and a handful of shredded cheese. Spread over the top of the sausage / tomato casserole.
Step 4
Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of the mashed potato. Sprinkle another handful of shredded cheese over the top.
Step 5
Cook in a moderate oven, 180-200C for about half an hour.
