Export 2 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Slice the sweet potato lengthwise with the skin on. They should be approximately 1 centimetre thick and provide 4-5 slices
Step 2
Spray slices with olive oil spray and season with salt and pepper
Step 3
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F
Step 4
Place sweet potato slices on a lined baking tray and put in the oven for 12-15 minutes. They should be fork tender however not too soft.
Step 5
Allow potato slices to rest on a wire rack for a couple of mintues to avoid them becoming soggy
Step 6
Add your preferred toppings and enjoy (refer above for my favourite variations)
Step 7
Put slices in toaster on a medium setting
Step 8
Depending on toaster strength, you will need to push the lever down approximately 4 times. They should be fork tender however not too soft
Step 9
Let them cool on a wire rack for a couple of minutes before adding your toppings
