Ingredients: 1 cup heavy whipping cream; 3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar; 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream recipes don't have to be hard. This one can even be made ahead. Slightly underwhip the cream, then cover and refrigerate for several hours. Beat briefly just before using.

This is great whipped cream, but might be a little sweet for some recipes, for example, with chocolate cream pie. Try it sometime with only two tablespoons of powdered sugar.

We used maple flavoring and served it on waffles!

Fantastic! So easy, tastes delicious, and the fact that I know exactly what's going into it is a bonus. I'll never go back to store-bought whipped topping again!

Perfect!  Just the right amount of sweetness.  Used a 4 cup glass pyrex measuring cup and a hand mixer.  Just the right size.  Not only great on pie but spooned onto a big bowl of fresh berries!

I agree with other reviewers-I never have to buy whipped cream again!  I followed recipe exactly and it was so yummy and easy.

I will not buy whipped cream ever again and have been complimented many times on this recipe. I just tell them that I got it from the Taste of Home website.

This is by far the best whipped cream recipe out there.  So easy to make and everyone loved it. I'll never use another recipe or store bought version again.

Saved my already-made whipped cream with the idea of vanilla essence. Had a try with other essences... didn't work out so nicely..;)

This recipe is so simple and delicious. I have tried different extracts for different flavor whipped cream. They have all turned out great. I will be making this recipe many more times. I used this for homemade hot chocolate and it was awesome!

I had never made homemade whipped cream before (why, I don't know, lol) and this recipe proved to me just how easy it was! And it turned out perfect my first try!

This whipped cream is awesome! I am going to make this at Thanksgiving to go with pumpkin pie!

Very easy, simple recipe.  I traded 1 tsp. vanilla extract for 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. almond extract.  Delicious!

will add this to my staples    used 1 teaspoon of vanilla  will try other flavors in the future

This tasted so good but took me a few tries. I over mixed a few times and ended up with a curtled mess. I also wasn't sure the speed of the mixer but figured it out. I will use this from now on because it taste so much better than store bought.

We made this for the first time on Thanksgiving night for our pies -- it was a hit!  Very good, not too sweet.  Will definitely make it again.

This tastes wonderful, and is better for you than cool-whip.  I used it in an icecream recipie and whipped it up in about 15 min using organic cream.

I make this every time I need whip cream ! Easy and delicious!
