· For the dough:· 2 cup all-purpose flour· 1/2 cup sugar· 4 egg yolks· 1 1/2 stick butter (room temp/slight melted)· 2 teaspoon baking powder· 2 teaspoon vanilla extract· For the filling:· 4 egg whites· 2 cup regular or plain Greek yogurt· 1/2 cup strawberry yogurt· 1 3/4 cup sour cream· 1 1/4 cup sugar· 5 tablespoon all-purpose flour (heaping)· 1 orange zest· 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Step 1For the dough: Mix all ingredients just until combined. Do not over mix. Divide in half.Step 2Spread half on the bottom of your baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F in a preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes. Cool slightly.Step 3For the filling: Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks are formed.Step 4In a large bowl, mix yogurt with sour cream, sugar, lemon zest, vanilla, and flour. Gently fold in egg whites.Step 5Pour filling on the baked dough. Take the other half of the dough and crumble it over the filling.Step 6Bake for about 30 more minutes until top is golden. Check with toothpick for whether the filling in the middle is cooked.Step 7Cool to room temperature and leave in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve chilled.
