In a small saucepan over medium heat bring the dippings to a simmer. One tablespoon at a time whisk in the flour until it thickens and bubbles. Continue to whisk 30-60 seconds.
Step 2
Slowly whisk in broth about ½ cup at a time, whisking smooth each time. Stop once you have added 1 ½ cups to check consistency, if it seems good do not add the remaining broth. If it still seems a little thick add the remaining broth. When you are happy with your consistency taste, if it needs salt add some until you are happy with the flavor. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
