Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
For the herby garlic butter, place the melted butter, 2 tablespoons minced parsley, garlic, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes into a small bowl and whisk together to combine. Set aside.
Step 3
To prepare the sliders, spread 1 cup of the pizza sauce onto the bottom half of the dinner rolls. Next, sprinkle on the mozzarella shreds, pepperonis, and ½ cup parmesan cheese. Dollop on the remaining ½ cup of pizza sauce and top with the provolone slices. Place the top half of the dinner rolls and transfer the sliders to a parchment paper rimmed baking tray.
Step 4
Brush with tops with the herby garlic butter and loosely cover with foil. Bake until the cheese is mostly melted, 15-20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10-12 minutes, until the rolls are golden brown.
Step 5
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with additional fresh parsley and parmesan, and serve immediately with additional pizza sauce (see recipe notes 2).
