Step 1
In a medium sized pot, bring water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente according to the directions on the box. Reserve about ¾ cup of pasta water before draining the pasta. Set the pasta and the pasta water aside for now.
Step 2
In a large sized skillet, add butter over low to medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add minced garlic and cook until the garlic has lightly browned. Add miso and a half cup of reserved pasta water. Whisk over medium heat until the miso has dissolved. Add pasta and parmesan to the skillet and stir vigorously until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened. If the pasta is still too dry, add the rest of the reserved pasta water.
Step 3
Serve the creamy miso garlic butter pasta warm topped with furikake seasoning.
