Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan).
Step 2
Add 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil to each hole in a 6-hole popover pan or Yorkshire pudding pan and place it in the preheated oven.
Step 3
Place 70g of all-purpose flour and 2 eggs in a large mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly.
Step 4
Gradually add in 100ml of whole milk, making sure that each portion is fully incorporated into the mixture before adding more.
Step 5
Season the batter with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Step 6
Allow the batter to rest for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Carefully remove the pan with hot oil from the oven, and evenly distribute the batter among the 6 holes.
Step 8
Place the pan back in the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the Yorkshire puddings have risen and turned crisp and golden.
Step 9
Remove the puddings from the oven and serve immediately.
