Export 2 ingredients for grocery delivery

Place 2 cups of white rice into the Dutch oven

Cover with 4 cups of water and add a teaspoon of butter or olive oil

Bring the oven to the boil
Step 5
Place the lid on the Dutch oven and set the timer for 15 minutes
Step 6
After 15 minutes is up - turn off the heat
Step 7
Remove from the burner it was cooked on to a cold burner
Step 8
Do not remove the lid or stir the rice
Step 9
Set timer for 15 minutes
Step 10
When the timer goes off your rice will be ready
Step 11
Stir and fluff up the rice and it is ready
