Export 4 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Microwave milk and heavy cream in a bowl for 1 minute and 30 seconds or until it is warm (make sure it doesn’t bubble!)
Step 2
In a separate bowl, add 1 egg and 2 tbsp of sugar. Whisk until everything is fully combined
Step 3
Slowly pour in the milk and whisking everything together.
Step 4
Optional but HIGHLY recommended, add in 1 shot of rum or 1 tbsp of vanilla extract.
Step 5
Strain it before pouring it into the container. Using a paper towel, lightly wipe off any bubbles so the top of smooth. Cover with tinfoil
Step 6
Add in 2 cups of water in the instant pot and add in the creme brulee. Pressure cook for 3 minutes. Let it naturally release, remove and rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Step 7
After 30 minutes, add in 1.5 tbsp of sugar and torch till carmelize, enjoy!
