Making Mocha Frappes at Home: My quest for the best

Step 1

Mix 1/2 c. of the coffee in with 1/2 c. milk. Pour into an ice cube tray and let freeze for at least 1 hour.

Step 2

Blend the 2 T. chocolate syrup into the heavy cream.

Step 3

Place the chocolate cream mixture, the other 1/2 c. coffee, and the frozen coffee-milk cubes into a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 4

Pour into a glass and serve; top with whipped cream if desired.
