My husband and I make these regularly. Ours do not rise/mound on the top, but are level like a pecan pie. We only bake 13-15 minutes or they stick/burn. We typically get 24 mini muffins when filling 2/3 full. We use regular butter cooking spray on the pan, no flour. These are addicting and I like them better than pecan pie.

I have made this recipe for years! Everyone loves when I make them. I use bakers joy spray and add flour to the pans also so they don't stick. Depending on the size of mini muffin tin I start checking at 12 mins.  Love taste of home recipes !!

These were delicious! They didn’t rise, we’re more of a flat top. And I wouldn’t describe them as a muffin—they were like a pecan pie inside and maybe a cookie outside. I would add a little vanilla next time. And, I was so worried after reading the reviews, that they were going to stick. I did not have that experience. I loosened them around the edges with a sharp knife, immediately out of the oven, and they simply popped right out.

These are a favorite decadent treat. Make sure to measure out the exact amount of butter first. I use 1 stick plus 2 tablespoons. I had issues with them sticking until I bought new tins. I’ve been baking these since 1998.

Quick to make and the miniature size is perfect. These are very moist and are great to take to potluck gatherings.

Taste good but stick to the pan - even tried them in paper cups and half of the muffin stayed in the paper.  We do live at high altitude, so that might be a part of the problem.

Delicious!! I followed the recipe except for the flour, I used Bob’s Red Mill 1 to 1 Gluten-free.  I also followed the advice in using paper cups with rice underneath to absorb excess grease.  I didn’t find them to be greasy at all, I did use real butter.  Thank you for the recipe!!

These are so good and sooo easy.  The brown sugar really shines through.  I made regular size muffins and got 8 so will certainly double next time.  Mine were a little too "crusty" on the outside (baked for 15 min) so maybe a minute or two less next time.  So yummy with my morning eggs!

This is an amazing recipe. My muffins came out perfect. I use unsalted butter so I added 1/2 tsp salt. I also added 1 tsp vanilla extract.  No issue with sticking just used cooking spray. Only baked for 18 minutes until tooth pick came out clean.  My husband loved them. Will definitely make again.

These were very good and i used walnuts instead of pecans and greased the muffin tins very good.

I love this recipe and have made them several times; however, I can NEVER get them to come out of the muffin tins, no matter how much I grease and flour the pans or how soon I try to get them out.  If you can give me a secret tip, I'd love to be able to make these successfully.

These are easy and delicious.  One of my favorite go to recipes.  When I take them to family gatherings or potlucks I always get compliments.

This is a very ordinary muffin. It is not like a pecan pie or a decent muffin and it does stick badly to the sides and bottoms no matter how much you spray with cooking spray. A waste of good pecans. There are much better recipes than this one.

These are delicious.  What a great way to satisfy your craving for pecan pie without all the calories.  My husband loves them.  They are great with morning coffee.

So easy to make. I've made these several times & get many compliments. Mine don't stick & I use Pam Baking Made with Flour spray. I fill my muffin tins almost completely to the top.  I have made them & froze them for a couple of weeks & once thawed they still had a good texture.

These were so good my husband would not let me take them to a family gathering!  I too had a problem getting them out of the pan. I sprayed it with Pam but I think next time Pam with flour otherwise a perfect little pecan pie.

I cooked them for 22 minutes and they can be used for stones - I think I will start checking at 15 minutes! But- they would be delicious if they weren't so hard!

I have been making these for years.  Everybody falls in love with them!  They are so easy to make, no one will know if you don't tell them. Give them a try! A real winner.

My husband's friends are crazy for these muffins. He gets sad faces from them when I bake something else for him to share. I add half a bag of Heath toffee chips. The toffee chips are the ones without the chocolate.
