Taco Spaghetti

Step 1

FIRST STEP:Place a skillet on medium heat and add the vegetable oil.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot add the onion, cook for 5 minutes to soften.

SECOND STEP:Then stir in the ground beef, cook for 5 minutes to brown all over.

Next add the taco seasoning and tomato paste to the skillet, cook for 1 minute.

THIRD STEP:Pour the canned tomatoes and beef broth into the skillet and bring to a simmer, cook for 10 minutes.

Fill a saucepan halfway with water and place on a high heat, once boiling add the spaghetti and salt.

FOURTH STEP:Cook according to packet instructions approximately 10 minutes then strain the pasta through a colander.

Step 15

Mix the cooked pasta and beef sauce then top with shredded cheese.

FIFTHH STEP:Cover the skillet with a lid and allow the cheese to melt for 2 minutes.

Step 19

Serve the taco spaghetti immediately, topped with tomato salsa and chopped cilantro.
