Preheat Smoker to 350F
Step 2
In a bowl, combine Apple Pie Filling, Vanilla Extract, & Cinnamon together and mix well to combine. Use a fork or potato masher to break up the apple pieces into very small bits.
Step 3
Lay out bacon strips on wire rack close to each other, but taking care to make sure they are not touching
Step 4
Brush a liberal coat of the apple pie mixture on the bacon
Step 5
Place into preheated smoker for 30-35 minutes. Check at 20 minutes to make sure nothing is starting to burn
Step 6
Remove from smoker and allow to rest/cool for 10 mins - this will also allow it to firm / harden up also.
