Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 degrees and grease a 1 liter glass baking dish. Set aside.
Step 2
Combine all dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Melt the butter and set aside. Whisk the vanilla into the milk. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the butter and milk. Gradually pull the dry ingredients into the milk mixture in the center and mix until completely combined. Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish.
Step 3
For the top layer, combine all the ingredients and stir until it becomes a chocolate liquid. Pour over the chocolate mixture.
Step 4
Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the top comes out with just a few crumbs on it.
Step 5
Served above with whipped cream and chopped toasted almonds.
