Cream Cheese Cake

Step 1

Mix together box cake mix, eggs, sour cream, and oil.

Step 2

Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.

Step 3

Pour batter into the pan. Set aside.

Step 4

Mix together cream cheese, egg, and sugar.

Step 5

Then add vanilla.

Step 6

Layer this mixture evenly over the top of the cake batter bringing it almost to the edge of the pan.

Step 7

Bake cake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 8

Let cool and prepare the frosting.

Step 9

For frosting, cream butter and cream cheese.

Step 10

Add sugar a cup at a time.

Step 11

Then whipping cream and vanilla.

Step 12

Beat until light and fluffy about three minutes.

Step 13

Frost the cake.

Step 14

If making cupcakes, fill cupcake liner about halfway. Put a teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the middle of the batter. Cook at 350 for 20 minutes.
