Export 6 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Put all apple slices in a large mixing bowl.
Step 2
In a separate smaller mixing bowl, whisk together brown and white sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and cornstarch. Sprinkle over the apples and toss to combine.
Step 3
Pour melted butter over the apples, tossing to combine.
Step 4
In the insert pot of the Instant Pot, add 3/4 cup water.
Step 5
Pour the apple mixture into the insert pot of the Instant Pot, but do not stir.
Step 6
Close lid and set vent to the sealed position. Select a cook time of 10 minutes at high pressure.
Step 7
When the cook time is complete, perform a quick release (or you can allow a natural release instead).
Step 8
After the pressure has released and the valve has dropped, carefully remove the lid. Stir the apples. Serve warm or allow to cool (sauce will thicken as it cools).
