Elvis Presley's Favorite Sandwich

The recipe states this makes one sandwich but if you use a large banana and the 3 tablespoons of peanut butter, it makes 2 or 3 sandwiches for me. I don't like it really thick. You have to mash the banana with the peanut butter. We like the extra crunchy peanut butter.

I used to just slice the banana when I made a peanut butter and banana sandwich but it is much better mashed. Spread the mixture on two slices of bread. Elvis probably used white bread but I love it on honey wheat bread. Add the butter to a grill or skillet and brown sandwich on both sides. I read that Elvis liked bacon on his sandwich at times and, believe me, it is wonderful with bacon, too

A simple yet satisfying dish that combines roast beef hash, cream of mushroom soup, and seasonings in a slow cooker for a hearty meal with minimal effort.

4-Ingredient Slow Cooker Beef

10.5 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup

brown gravy mix

onion soup mix

Lightly coat the inside of a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick spray if desired.

Place the two cylindrical blocks of roast beef hash in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Spoon the condensed cream of mushroom soup over the hash.

Sprinkle the brown gravy mix and onion soup mix evenly across the top.

Preparation

Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until the hash is heated through and has softened.

Stir well, breaking up the hash into a chunky mixture of beef, potatoes, and gravy.

Cover again and cook on low for an additional 20 to 30 minutes to let everything blend.

Cooking

Spoon the hot beef mixture onto plates or into shallow bowls and serve right away.

Serving

A simple and satisfying dessert highlighting the natural sweetness of sweet potatoes, with just four ingredients.

4-Ingredient Oven Baked Sweet Potato Dessert

sweet potatoes,

brown sugar (Adjust based on sweetness preference.)

unsalted butter, melted

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and lightly grease an oven-safe metal baking pan.

Add the raw cubed sweet potatoes to the pan and spread them out in an even layer.

Pour the melted butter over the sweet potatoes, then sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly across the top.

Cover the pan loosely with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil, stir gently, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes more, or until the sweet potatoes are fork-tender and the syrup is bubbling around the edges.

Baking

Let the dessert rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving so the syrup thickens slightly and coats the sweet potatoes beautifully.
