This BLT dip is a creamy ranch dip topped with crispy bacon, romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes and green onions. An easy appetizer option that's perfect for any party!

BLT Dip

cream cheese (softened)

sour cream

ranch seasoning

romaine lettuce

tomatoes (seeded)

bacon (cooked and crumbled)

green onions

Place the cream cheese in the bowl of a mixer, beat until smooth.

Add the sour cream and ranch, then beat until fully combined.

Spread the ranch mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch dish.

Top the ranch mixture with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and sliced green onions. Serve.

Caramelized Onion Bacon Dip

olive oil

bacon (uncooked and chopped)

onion (finely chopped)

sour cream (I love Oberweis Cultured Sour Cream)

chives

cheddar cheese

salt and pepper

chips veggies

Heat a medium skillet over medium high heat. Add the oil and chopped bacon into the skillet and cook until crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain.

Add the chopped onion into the skillet with the bacon grease and caramelize for about 10 minutes, or until fully browned and translucent. Remove onion from the skillet and allow to drain/cool.

In a medium bowl, stir together the sour cream, bacon, onion, chives, shredded cheese, and salt and pepper.

Allow to sit in the fridge in an airtight container for at least an hour to fully chill and for flavors to all blend together.

Serve with chips or chopped veggies.

Onion Bacon Dip

Recipe video above. This warm dip is really creamy, super cheesy and loaded with bacon. It takes minutes to make in the microwave! Serving it in a bread bowl is optional - I love it because I love tearing into the dip soaked bread. This makes around 4 1/2 - 5 cups of dip. Plenty!&nbsp;

Cheese and Bacon Dip

350 g / 12 oz bacon (, chopped)

250 g / 8 oz cream cheese (, softened)

sour cream ((preferably full fate))

mayonnaise

garlic powder ((or sub with onion powder))

shredded tasty or cheddar cheese ((Note 1))

mozzarella cheese ((Note 1))

shallots / scallions

bread

Jatz / Ritz

Oil spray

Crackers (, chips, toasted bread)

Cook bacon in a non stick skillet / fry pan over high heat until browned. Transfer to paper towel lined plate to drain.

Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream and garlic powder together in a heat proof bowl.

Stir through most of the bacon, all the cheese and most of the shallots. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. The dip may look like the oil from the cheese has separated. Just stir well and it will come (and stay) together.

If serving as is, pour into a serving bowl, top with remaining bacon and shallots.

Serve with crackers, chips and the bread you pulled out to create the bread bowl (I toast it).

If making this in a bread bowl. use a small knife to cut a circle on the top of the cob loaf then remove enough bread to make a bowl. Pour the dip into the bowl.

Top with crushed crackers, spray with oil. Bake for 20 minutes at 180C/350F until top is golden.

Top with remaining bacon and shallots. Serve warm.

In a pan over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain the chopped on a paper towel-lined plate. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, cream cheese, and ranch dip mix. Set aside.

Assemble the dip in a glass serving dish by spreading the ranch mixture evenly on the bottom.

Top in layers starting with the chopped chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped eggs, green onion, corn kernels, chopped bacon, and bleu cheese crumbles. Let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes up to 2 hours before serving.
