Boursin Pasta - TikTok Boursin Cheese and Tomato Pasta Recipe

cherry tomatoes

red onion (roughly chopped)

garlic

½ tsp red pepper flakes

Boursin cheese

tbsp extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper (to taste)

dry pasta

basil (torn (optional))

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Spread tomatoes, onion, and garlic cloves evenly in a medium baking dish.

Unwrap Boursin cheese and place in center of dish, surrounded by other ingredients.

Drizzle liberally with olive oil, sprinkle with red pepper flakes, and add salt and pepper to taste.

Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Immediately after removing from oven, toss in basil and use a wooden spoon or spatula to stir the roasted mixture, evenly distributing cheese and olive oil over the rest of the ingredients. Add in reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamier consistency.

Stir in cooked pasta and serve immediately.

Baked Boursin Pasta

garlic (peeled but left whole)

Italian seasoning

kosher salt (plus more to taste)

black pepper

olive oil

Boursin garlic & herb cheese (1 package)

cream cheese (1/2 block)

penne pasta (or another favorite medium pasta)

lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

baby spinach leaves, lightly chopped (about 3 ounces)

Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 375℉. 

Add the cherry tomatoes, garlic cloves, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, and olive oil to a 9x13” baking dish. Toss until everything is evenly coated with the oil and seasonings. 

Create space in the center of the baking dish and place the Boursin cheese and cream cheese in the middle of the tomatoes and garlic cloves. 

Place the baking dish in the oven and cook for 30-35 minutes or until the tomatoes and garlic are soft and fork-tender. 

While the dish is baking, boil the pasta per the directions on the package. Then set the pasta aside. Reserve 3/4 cup of the pasta water before draining the pasta.

When done baking, use a fork to mash the tomatoes and garlic. Add the lemon juice and the spinach to the baking dish and stir to combine it with the softened cheeses, tomatoes, and garlic. 

Add 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water to the sauce in the baking dish and mix it together. Pour the cooked pasta into the baking dish and toss to coat it in the sauce. If the sauce seems to need to be thinned out more, add the remaining cooking water.

Taste and add more salt and pepper if desired. Garnish the pasta with freshly grated Parmesan and chopped parsley if desired. Serve.

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place the cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and garlic in an oven-safe greased 9x13 baking dish. Drizzle the olive oil on top and season with salt, fresh cracked pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.

Push tomatoes and mushrooms to the sides, then place the Boursin round in the middle, having the tomatoes and mushrooms surround it.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until the cherry tomatoes burst, the mushrooms are roasted, and the cheese melts.

In the meantime, cook the pasta in a pot of salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking liquid.

When the Boursin and tomatoes are done cooking, immediately add in the spinach leaves, stirring so they wilt and to break down the cheese, combining everything to make a sauce.

Transfer the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to combine, adding in some of the reserved pasta water, if necessary, to achieve the desired consistency for the sauce. Stir in the grated Parmesan.

Serve immediately with some shaved Parmesan.

My family loves this recipe and has requested on several occasions.

I only made half the recipe so there were no leftovers. Only thing I did different is to add bell pepper and onions to everything else. Will definitely make this again.

Delicious…did not have spinach, so I used zucchini. I served it as a main dish with garlic bread, but it would make a great side dish too.  I think it would pair well with baked white fish or grilled chicken! My husband loved it…he is Gluten Free so I used GF penne pasta! This dish is a perfect dish to take to friends!!

This recipe is easy to make, quite tasty, and, and cozy on a cold day.  

Because my family likes more sauce, I put in a little less pasta than is listed in recipe.  The flavors blend so nicely.

Boursin Cheese Pasta is an easy and flavourful dish that combines rich, herb-infused cheese with roasted tomatoes and perfectly cooked pasta. A beautiful meal that’s quick enough for weeknights!

garlic & fine herbs Boursin cheese (see note 2)

cherry tomatoes (about 20 ounces)

red onion

garlic cloves,

oregano

salt

bow tie pasta (farfalle) (fusilli

basil leaves (optional, but recommended)

Optional garnish: freshly grated parmesan cheese, more fresh basil

Preheat

Preheat the oven to 400 °F. In a 9×13-inch ceramic casserole dish, place the Boursin cheese in the middle of the dish, then surround it with the cherry tomatoes, red onion and garlic.

Season

Drizzle the olive oil on top of the vegetables and season them with oregano, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to gently coat the vegetables in the oil and seasonings.

Bake

Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until tomatoes start to burst and the onion softens.

Boil

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Reserve a half cup of cooking liquid to thin the sauce. Set the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water aside.

Stir

Stir the cheese and tomatoes in the casserole dish, gently squishing the tomatoes. Add the sliced fresh basil, if using, and stir until evenly distributed, then add the cooked pasta and toss until evenly coated in sauce. Slowly add pasta water to help thin the sauce to your desired consistency (I only needed ¼ cup).

Serve

Serve immediately with more fresh basil and parmesan cheese, if desired. Store any leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator and eat within 4 days.

Excellent! I decided to make this dish after I bought a high-end frozen pasta dish. It was barely ok. Then I remembered that I saw this on line and had ingredients (love Boursin). Came out soooo delish.

Yummy! I added a few tablespoons of sundried tomato pesto for more tomato flavour and added some leftover cooked chicken. I used black pepper boursin as I didnt want too much garlic flavour for the kids.

I sauteed the onions and garlic in olive oil and little butter before adding and tossing the tomatoes.  I had frozen basil/parmesan cubes so used those instead of fresh.  (used 3 small cubes...didn't have enough fresh) I added a bit more olive oil over the boursin cheese. Used spices as directed in recipe. :)    Made the sauce early and reheated on the range before tossing with the bow tie pasta.  Parmesan sprinkled on top.  Soooo good.   Thanks for the recipe.
