Meal Prep Big Mac Salad Jars

lb extra-lean ground beef

tsp salt

yellow onion, diced

dill pickles, chopped

plum tomatoes,

cheddar cheese

romaine lettuce, chopped

mayo

tbsp ketchup

tbsp relish

Cook ground beef with salt in a medium-sized skillet over med-high heat until fat has absorbed and beef is fully cooked, about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix Big Mac sauce ingredients together. Divide sauce among 4 mason jars. Top with ground beef, then layer with onions, pickles, tomatoes, cheese and lettuce.

Store in the fridge up to 5 days - serve by dumping into a large bowl and enjoy!

Low-Carb Big Macs Are Just As Satisfying As The Real Thing

Make mini Big Mac sliders at home with 12 pack dinner rolls (ex: King's Hawaiian) and using Big Mac Sauce or Thousand Island dressing.

Big Mac Sliders

12 pack dinner rolls (, (ex. Kings Hawaiian))

onion (, minced)

6-8 cheese slices

butter (, melted)

tbsp sesame seeds

bread and butter pickle slices

lettuce (, finely chopped)

Big Mac Sauce

In a skillet, brown the ground beef and the onions until the beef is fully cooked and the onions are transparent. Drain.

Preheat oven to 325F.

Keeping the 12 dinner rolls together, cut them lengthwise. Place both halves side by side on a large baking sheet. Bottom half should be cut side facing up and top half should be cut side facing down.

Evenly spread the ground beef mixture all over the bottom half of the dinner rolls. Lay cheese slices on top of the ground beef.

Brush the melted butter on the top of the dinner rolls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Cheese should be melted and dinner rolls starting to brown.

Evenly place pickles on top of the melted cheese. Sprinkle the chopped lettuce on top.

Flip the top part of the dinner rolls so the cut side is facing up. Evenly spread the Big Mac Sauce or Thousand Island dressing across the cut side of the top half of the dinner rolls.

Place the top half of the dinner rolls on top of the bottom half. Cut into sliders and serve.

Bun Preparation

Start by preparing the buns: cut the middle bun to size and carefully toast them in a non-stick pan until lightly golden (without oil!). Set aside when done.

Patties

Prepare your burger patties according to the packaging instructions.

Cheese

(optional) Prepare your cheese sauce - if you&#39;re using ready made vegan cheese, then skip this step. Simply whisk up all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the sauce gets hot enough you can tell that the texture begins to change as the tapioca starch is activated. Set aside to cool once you have a thick &amp; gooey consistency.

Wash the lettuce, finely slice the onion and carefully slice the gherkin.

Assembly time! And in order to give the burger the perfect finish, create the perfect Big Mac order, which is (bottom to top): Bottom bun - Big Mac Sauce - Chopped onion - Lettuce - Cheese sauce (alternatively: vegan cheese slice) - Patty - Middle bun - Big Mac Sauce - Chopped onion - Lettuce - Pickles - Patty - Cheese sauce (or slice) - Top bun

Juicy, beefy, and cheesy, these Big Mac sliders taste just like the real thing! Perfect for parties or just for easy lunches and dinners, these sliders are a family-friendly favorite.

Preheat oven to 350˚F.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until the meat is cooked through and browned. Drain the beef, then return to the skillet, season with salt and pepper and set aside.

To make the sauce, combine the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, mustard, vinegar, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder and mix until evenly combined.

Cut the slider rolls in half. Arrange the bottoms in a casserole dish. Place the cheese over the bottoms, then spread the ground beef over the top and sprinkle with onion. Place the roll tops on the rolls then brush with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.IMPORTANT: Make sure to put the cheese under the meat, or it will de difficult to take the tops off the rolls to add the veggie toppings. If you accidentally put the cheese on top, I recommend placing the roll tops on a separate baking sheet next to the bottoms so that they can all heat/toast without sticking together.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the Big Mac Sliders are heated through and golden. Remove from the tops from the sliders and top with shredded lettuce, Big Mac sauce, and pickles. Replace the tops and serve immediately.

My family devoured these. I smoked them on our smoker and they turned out delish.

Make The Spread

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, relish, ketchup, sugar, and vinegar. Set aside.

Prepare The Patties

Weigh out 8 portions of 3.5 oz of ground beef or eye it out. Gently flatten the patty into a circle to desired thin or thickness, making sure to not mix or mold it too much. Sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides. Set aside.

Toast The Buns

Brush the insides of the buns with butter. Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat. Lay the buns butter side face down. Take them off the pan when a nice golden brown develops around the edges.

Cook The Patties

Over medium-high heat in a skillet or pan, add 1/2 a tablespoon of butter and 1/2 a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the patties in, two at a time or more if you have a large grill/skillet. Add a teaspoon of mustard on the raw side and spread evenly. It will take about 2-3 minutes for the patty to get a nice brown crust. Flip over and add a slice of American cheese on top of half the patties you cook since Big Macs only have 1 cheese but 2 patties. Let it cook for about 1 more minute for the cheese to melt. Take off the heat.

Assemble The Big Macs

To the bottom bun, add sauce, lettuce, onion, patty, and cheese. Then add the middle bun, sauce, lettuce, onion, pickles, and the second patty. Add the top bun. Enjoy warm!.
