Mix VELVEETA, chicken and pepper sauce in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 5 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted, stirring after 3 min.

In a medium bowl whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, milk, garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce until combined.

Stir in blue cheese crumbles and chives. Make sure not to over mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Next, fold in the blue cheese gently until combined.  Don’t over mix.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I started making my own salad dressings to avoid oils and preservatives. This recipe was so easy and absolutely delicious! Thought it needed more blue cheese so added 1c crumbles and it was perfect. Will definitely be making again in the near future!

This is absolutely delicious!   I love that it's low fat, but tastes creamy and decadent.  I made it exactly as per the recipe using Oikos plain Greek yogurt (although it is 2%).  It's a bit thick right now, so I may thin it a bit before using on a wedge salad.  A definite keeper!

I cut the Greek Yogurt to 4 oz and subbed 2 oz light sour cream and used distilled white vinegar instead because I didn't have white wine vinegar. I must say, I've tried a LOT of low-cal dressings before... This one I actually like! It's really good and I'll definitely be using this in the future!

Super easy and fast to make.  I used Greek Gods plain greek yogurt.  I used rice wine vinegar.  I only used 1/2T mayo.  I added some onion powder and 1T of buttermilk powder.  Very tasty.

This is the fastest, best blue cheese dressing I have made.  Use a good quality blue cheese and you will not be disappointed.  Does not need to sit very long before using, but does get better, and thicker, once refrigerated overnight.

7 Layer Cobb Salad Dip

romaine lettuce, chopped

Roma tomatoes, finely diced

In a pan over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain the chopped on a paper towel-lined plate. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, cream cheese, and ranch dip mix. Set aside.

Assemble the dip in a glass serving dish by spreading the ranch mixture evenly on the bottom.

Top in layers starting with the chopped chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped eggs, green onion, corn kernels, chopped bacon, and bleu cheese crumbles. Let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes up to 2 hours before serving.

YUM and EASY! Sadly, due to self-perceived skill/recipe intimidation, I was a blue cheese dressing-making virgin. But thanks to this recipe, I'm happy to report fear tackled! 

I used a good quality brick bleu cheese (not pre-crumbled) and added more worchestershire sauce (personal preference), but the recipe is perfect as written. 

NOTE: It does thickens as it refridgerates, so maybe keep an extra tablespoon of heavy cream (or whole milk, as I had to use) handy.

2 Tbsp lemon juice made a VERY tart dressing.  I made a second time with 1 Tbsp lemon juice and everyone agreed it was better.  Really did get better after 2-3 days in fridge.  Amazing to drizzle over wedge of lettuce.  Definitely bookmarking this dressing.
