Cake Mix Cookies 12 Ways - So many varieties, you'll want to try them all! 4 ingredients, 20 minutes, and you can have soft, delicious cookies.

Cake Mix Cookies

cake mix* (dry ingredients only)

vegetable oil

eggs

mix ins (such as chocolate chips, coconut, nuts, etc.)

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with a silpat liner or parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, vegetable oil and eggs until combined. Stir in the mix ins.

Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, at least 2 inches apart. Bake just until the cookies are set in the middle, 10-12 minutes.

Cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet then transfer to a cooling rack or a sheet of waxed paper.

I made this recipe and the cookies came out way too oily. I would recommend using less oil. I had to add about a half cup more flour.

I used egg substitute and applesauce in place of the oil. Did yellow cake mix and Heath toffee bits....Delish!! Mine were not flat as shown though, I just assumed it was because I didn't use oil.

I just made these with white cake mix.   about 18 oz.   I added dried cherries, pecans, some fresh orange zest and a little vanilla.   OMG  these are amazing.   I love this and thank you Deborah for sharing this.. it is wonderful

My husband is diabetic so I use Pillsbury's Sugar-free cake mixes and sugar-free chips.

Can Canola oil be substituted for vegetable?

This is the second time I have made them. The first time I put a caramel M&amp;M in the middle.

I wanted to leave a comment for all my fellow high altitude bakers who find it a challenge to find a cookie recipe that doesn't come out flat as a fritter. ! I live at 4200 feet, so to the dry cake mix I added a generous tablespoon of all purpose flour. and used a lightly  melted cube of margarine instead of oil .I also added as a mix in the coconut to give the batter substance, Baked as directed and these cookies turned out wonderfully !  Thank you for this wonderful recipe. I highly  recommend for high altitudes !!!!!

Great recipe. I made lemon with white chocolate chips and chocolate fudge with coconut and butterscotch chips!

I used your recipe and added my own twist I made Mint chip cookies for Christmas I colored them Red and some Green ones.

Needed to make a batch of cookies in a hurry to take to a friend.  Was surprised they were that good.  I used a chocolate cake mix, substituted butter for oil, and added 3/4 cup of chocolate chips instead of the recommended 1/2 cup.

I love this quick and easy. I've made vanilla and chocolate ones. I'm going to try and make  snickerdoodles with the yellow cake.

I never heard of using cake mix to make cookies but I'm glad I found this recipe. I made chocolate chip cookies today, they tasted like a hybrid between brownies and cookies. Fast, easy and delicious recipe. Will definitely do it again.

So easy and yummy! I made a devil’s food cake mix with milk chocolate chips. Reese’s pieces on top.

I used a devils food cake mix and a Hershey bar with peanuts. Divine!

I had been using a different recipe that said if using a 15 oz cake mix add 1/4 cup plain flour. I could always taste that raw flour taste. I’m happy to know that I can omit that extra flour.

I used the recipe with Pillsbury Zero sugar free cake mix.  They came out delicious-just watch the time ( edges don't brown).

What a great recipe.   makes cookies quick, rather than measuring and all the ingredients for from scratch.  
I have made fudge swirl mix with pecans, coconut and dark chocolate chips.  strawberry cake mix with dark chocolate chips and almonds. banana cake mix with dark chocolate chips, coconut and dark chocolate chips.

15.25-ounce box cake mix

butter (or vegetable oil)

Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C). Line a cookie sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.

In a large mixer bowl, add the cake mix, melted butter and eggs and mix until well combined.

Bake balls of about 2 tablespoons each and place onto prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the cookies are set. Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then removed to a cooling rack to finish cooling.

This is incredibly easy and takes a few minutes prep. Cookies were delicious.

I made this recipe using a white cake mix, 2 eggs and coconut oil.  I added 3/4 cop walnut pieces and 3/4 cup chocolate chips.  It made amazing light cookies.  I am very pleased.

We made these with a Fudge Cake recipe by Betty Crocker.  We used 1/2 butter and 1/2 oil to a total of 1/2 cup.  We added semisweet chocolate chips.  Delicious!!

The chocolate  mix recipe is missing something. I made them topped with M&amp;M’s. BUT, the Funfetti mix cookies are YUM! I will be making them over and over!

I tried making them  with apple sauce instead of oil, they came out dry. Next time I will use oil.

Wow!  These cookies were sooo good!  I just used a cheap box of cake mix from the dollar store, and all I had were medium eggs (not large like the recipe called for.)  I tossed in some slivered almonds, and I baked for 9 min in a preheated oven.  They came out slightly gooey in the middle, YUM!!  Not alot gooey, just a little bit!

Crispy Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies Recipe (5 Ingredients)

German Chocolate Cake Mix (1 box)

stick unsalted butter

crispy rice cereal

vanilla almond bark

Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silpat mat.

In a large bowl, using a hand or stand mixer, mix together the cake mix, egg, and butter. Fold in the rice cereal with a spatula until blended.

Using a large cookie scoop, shape dough into 1 1/2 - 2 inch balls. If you don&#39;t have a cookie scoop a tablespoon is comparable in size. Place onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

Using a fork, flatten the cookies in a criss-cross pattern. 

Bake for 10-12 minutes; until the top no longer looks wet. 

Cool on cooling rack.

Prepare the drizzle.

In a microwaveable bowl, cook the vanilla almond bark for 30 seconds. Stir and continue cooking for 15-second intervals; stirring between each time and until the bark is melted. Be careful to not overcook the bark as it will start to seize on you.

Once the bark is melted prepare the cookies for drizzle by laying them out on a sheet of wax paper. Using a fork, drizzle the bark all over your cookies. If you don&#39;t want to drizzle, dipping the cookies into the bark will work as well. Place the cookies back onto the wax paper and allow the bark to harden.

Store in an airtight container.

This easy Crumbl cake batter blondie cookie is soft and chewy cake batter flavored cookie. It is packed with white chocolate chips and is rolled in sprinkles too!

Crumbl cake batter blondie cookies

butter (softened

brown sugar (packed)

sugar

egg (at room temperature)

vanilla butter

tsp cake batter flavoring

all purpose flour

tbsp corn starch

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

chocolate

sprinkles

Preheat the oven to 350F then line a large baking sheet with parchement paper and set aside.

In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar together.

Add in the egg, vanilla butter emulsion, and cake batter flavoring and mix until combined.

Add in the flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt and mix just until the flour mixture disappears. Fold in the white chocolate chips.

Using a large cookie scooper, scoop out 9 equally sized cookies dough balls.  Roll the sides of each cookie in the rainbow sprinkles, place on the prepared baking sheet and gently flatten with your hand to about 3/4-1 inch in thickness.

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 11-12 minutes then let them cool down on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Enjoy with a tall glass of cold milk!

Cake Batter Blondie is my favorite cookie, and when i heard it may not come back for a long time, i went searching for a recipe. THIS IS HEAVENLY 
The only thing i didn’t use was corn starch and cake batter flavoring but it was still SOOO GOOD! I also substituted vanilla extract for butter vanilla emulsion and it was amazing! Definitely recommend!!!
