Simple nut clusters for a party or holiday treat

Amish Zebra Cashew Clusters

(about 2 cups) salted roasted cashews

almond bark chocolate

milk chocolate

Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper, set aside.

In a large bowl, melt almond bark in 25-second intervals, stirring between each 25-seconds until completely melted.

Fold cashews into almond bark, stirring until cashews are completely coated.

Using a big tablespoon, drop portions onto prepared cookie sheets. You can readjust the shapes of the clusters after they hit the parchment paper.

Let the cluster set up a bit, about 20 minutes.

Once the cashews set up, melt the milk chocolate in 20 to 25-second intervals until completely melted. Drizzle the milk chocolate over each cluster and let clusters set up completely (generally another 20 minutes) before serving or storing them in a container.

These Nut Clusters are an easy 3-ingredient healthy snack with a crunchy texture and delicious nutty chocolate taste. They are perfect healthy treats for the kids and the whole family and they are ready in 15 minutes.

Dark Chocolate Bar (55%

Roasted Nuts (I used 1/3 cup of each: peanuts, cashews, almonds)

Coconut Oil

Sea Salt Flakes (optional)

First, pick the chocolate you love. For very low-sugar clusters, pick 85% cocoa, or 70% for a sweeter treat. For a very sweet cluster use 55% cocoa chocolate.

In a microwave-safe glass bowl add the squares of chocolate and coconut oil.

Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each until fully melted.

Fold in the roasted nuts and use a rubber spatula to stir and coat the nuts.

Line a large sheet that fit the width of your freezer, with lightly oiled parchment paper.  Set aside.

Drop a tablespoon of coated nuts on the prepared sheets and repeat, leaving some space between each cluster. I made 16 clusters.

Pop the sheet in the freezer for 10-12 minutes until the chocolate hardens and the clusters and set.

Serve with a pinch of sea salt flakes.

I've made them with dried cranberries a number of times.
