Rolled oats are soaked in milk, cacao powder, chia seeds and honey overnight for a creamy, chocolate oatmeal that is&nbsp;a healthy breakfast. They can be prepared ahead of time and you can meal prep enough for&nbsp;the whole week.

Chocolate Overnight Oats

In a glass jar, add all ingredients. (To determine the amount of milk to use, I found that 1/2 cup was just the right amount to cover and soften all the oats, but with very little liquid leftover the next morning. I like my oats this way but if you prefer runnier oats with some liquid leftover, I suggest adding 2/3 cup milk.) Mix everything together with a spoon until combined. You can taste and add more sweetener as needed. Since I add fresh fruit to mine in the morning, I prefer to keep the sugar level low.

Seal jar and store in refrigerator for at least a few hours, but preferably overnight. Eat the next morning as is or with fresh fruit. You can also prepare up to a week's worth ahead of time.

Set aside 2-3 resealable jars. Here are the resealable mini glass jars that I use–if using these, set aside 3 jars.

Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk until well mixed and no clumps of coconut cream or yogurt remain. Pour into jars.

Add optional dry toppings (nuts, coconut, etc.). Seal jars.

Store overnight in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.** Overnight oats will become thicker as each day passes. If desired, add non-dairy milk to thin it out. Enjoy cold, or heat in the microwave in 20-second increments until warm.

They&#039;re the perfect make-ahead breakfast option for those crazy busy mornings and can be prepped in less than 10 minutes. Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oats

rolled oats (1/2 cup per serving)

cocoa powder (unsweetened)

tbsp chia seeds

almond milk ((or

tbsp peanut butter

banana (mashed)

tsp vanilla extract

Maple syrup

Divide the oats, cocoa powder, chia seeds and salt between two mason jars or bowls. Give it a quick stir to combine. 

Next divide the almond milk, peanut butter, banana, and vanilla between the jars and stir thoroughly to combine, making sure that the peanut butter and banana are distributed evenly.

Cover the containers and allow the oats to sit in the fridge overnight or until thickened (sometimes I&#039;ll even just leave them for 30 minutes to an hour and they&#039;re all ready to go)! Taste. Add in maple syrup or preferred sweetener and/or protein powder, if desired.

To serve, top with a drizzle of peanut butter, chocolate chips and chopped peanuts, if desired.

Black Forest Overnight Oats! The ultimate, decadent but nutritious and satisfying breakfast that needs no cooking at all and can be made ahead.  With the classic combination of chocolate and cherries, this my friends is seriously yum!

Black Forest Overnight Oats

(50 grams) rolled/old fashioned oats

semi-sweet chocolate chips

¾ cup (180 ml) milk of choice

(110 grams) fresh or frozen cherries (, pitted)

(80 ml) vegan cream or yogurt

To a jar or other lidded container add the oats, cocoa powder, chia seeds, chocolate chips, vanilla, maple syrup and milk to a jar. Stir well or put the lid on and give it a good shake.

Top with the cherries (don&#39;t stir them in), put the lid on and place in the fridge for at least 6 hours or up to 3 days.

Before serving give it a quick stir and top with vegan cream or yogurt, maybe a few more cherry halves or a drizzle of melted chocolate, then enjoy.

All of your overnight oats are amazing. I actually thought I’d have these but was craving chocolate and had frozen cherries to use. I’m now eating them daily, they’re so yummy! I do add a half scoop of my vanilla protein powder and like to use vanilla sweetened soy milk, omitting the maple syrup but it’s a great recipe as written or with some mods! Yoggu vanilla yogurt on top makes it over the top decadent.

I've been enjoying this delightful black forest oatmeal all week — it's absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying until lunchtime! These Chocolate Protein Powder Overnight Oats are the perfect meal prep recipe to keep you full and energized all morning long! They are super easy to make with only 6-7 ingredients and prep takes no time at all. They do have to sit in the fridge for a bit for the oats to soak up the liquid, but with some planning ahead these are the perfect grab-and-go breakfast option!

Simple Chocolate Protein Powder Overnight Oats

½ cup old fashioned oats

½ tbsp chia seeds

plain greek yogurt (I used non fat)

maple syrup (or honey (optional))

In a jar or tupperware container, mix the oats, protein powder, and chia seeds.

Add in the milk, yogurt, and syrup/honey (if using). Top with the lid and shake vigorously, or stir with a whisk/fork.

Place in the fridge for at least 5 hours or overnight, until the oats have soaked up the liquid. If it&#39;s too dry, add in a splash of milk and mix.

How are the calories calculated? I plugged this recipe into Cronometer and it was 645. That’s with omitting the syrup and subbing the milk with lower cal almond milk.

This is delicious! My first time making and eating overnight oats. I used fat free Toasted Coconut Vanilla Greek Yogurt and added a tablespoon of unsweetened shredded coconut!

Delicious!  I put in one scoop of PB2 chocolate peanut butter powder instead of the protein pot.

These ultra-creamy chocolate overnight oats are the perfect make-ahead breakfast! Using protein powder, almond milk, rolled oats, and cocoa powder, they require 5 minutes of prep time.

Creamy Chocolate Overnight Oats with Protein Powder

almond milk ((or any milk you prefer))

rolled (old fashioned) oats (if needed, make sure they're labeled gluten free)

Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder*

plain protein powder*

Tbsp. syrup

vanilla extract*

Mix all ingredients together in a small jar or split between two jars to keep the two servings separate. Stir well to mix ingredients and dissolve chunks.

Refrigerate

Place jar(s) in refrigerator overnight or for 2 hours at the very minimum (overnight is preferred).

Stir

Remove from refrigerator before eating and stir well.

Either eat directly from the jar(s) or place in a bowl. Eat within 24 hours of mixing for best results.
