This easy cilantro lime sauce is a zesty spin on ranch! You don't even need a blender. Use it for grain bowls, tacos, and more.

Quick Cilantro Lime Sauce (5 Minutes!)

cilantro

lime juice (1 lime)

Greek yogurt

mayonnaise

sugar

garlic powder and onion powder

dill

black pepper

Chop the cilantro as finely as possible. Juice the lime.

In a medium bowl, mix the cilantro and lime juice with the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt and pepper. (Alternative: You can blend all ingredients using an immersion blender or in a food processor if you&#8217;d like a smooth, light green sauce.) Eat immediately or refrigerate until serving.

This bright, fresh ranch dressing gets plenty of flavor from fresh cilantro and plenty of lime. Add a bit of kick with some jalapeño, or see the notes for more ideas for playing with the flavor! 

Cilantro Lime Ranch Dressing (Paleo &amp; Vegan Friendly)

jalapeño (or more, to taste)

lime

garlic powder

onion powder

salt (or less, if you prefer)

tsp pepper

tsp dried dill (or 1/2 Tbsp fresh)

Tbsp lime juice

Tbsp milk

Place all ingredients in a blender, food processor, or a tall cup for an immersion blender.

Taste and add additional salt, pepper, cilantro, jalapeño, or lime juice as desired.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week.

The sauce itself, is pretty good! I wasn’t sure how I would like onion and garlic powder, but they aren’t bad.

Cilantro Lime Ranch (Paleo & Vegan-Friendly)

This barbeque chicken salad has awesome flavor, texture, and crunch, and tastes better than takeout! It&#39;s easy for meal prep (and leftovers the next day). Topped with a creamy cilantro jalapeno ranch dressing, it will be one of your new favorite salad recipes!

Barbeque Chicken Salad

chicken

romaine lettuce ((could also use spinach))

black beans (drained & rinsed)

corn kernels ((fire roasted if you can find it))

grape tomatoes (halved)

avocados (chopped)

red onion (thinly sliced)

cilantro (finely chopped)

Optional toppings: shredded mexican cheese or cheddar cheese, sour cream, tortilla strips

paleo mayo

full fat canned coconut milk

honey (omit for whole30 option)

chives

smoked paprika

garlic garlic

salt

jalapeno

mild salsa verde ((see notes))

almond milk ((more or less depending on your consistency preference))

Add all of the ingredients, except for the almond milk, to a food processor or blender and puree until smooth, scraping sides down as needed. Add the almond milk a few tablespoons at a time until you reach your desired consistency. Place in the refrigerator to chill before using.

If you are using rotisserie chicken, add it to a medium bowl and toss with BBQ sauce. Set aside.

Prep all of your ingredients including draining the beans and corn and chopping the onion, avocado and tomato. Add the lettuce to a large bowl and top with BBQ chicken, black beans, corn, tomatoes, avocado, onion and cilantro. Top with any additional ingredients and serve with cilantro lime ranch dressing.

One of the BEST salads I have ever tasted in my life! So simple, so easy to make, but also SO delicious! It's a new staple in my meal prep rotation. The dressing is to die for! So yummy!
