This cinnamon Roll Icing is made in literally MILLIONS of kitchens every single year. Creamy and perfectly sweet, my cinnamon roll glaze is the perfect topper to any cinnamon roll.

Cinnamon Roll Icing Recipe

salted butter (room temperature)

sugar

tsp vanilla extract (use clear vanilla

Heavy Whipping cream (as needed)

With either a stand mixer or in a bowl with an electric hand mixer, cream the butter until smooth.

Mixing on low, add in one cup of powdered sugar and just enough heavy whipping cream to bring the powdered sugar and butter together.

Repeat this step until all of the powdered sugar has been added.

Add the vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.

Slowly add in more heavy cream to adjust the consistency to your liking.

Ice warm cinnamon rolls generously.

Will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks.

The best cream cheese frosting for cinnamon rolls! It&#039;s easy to make, creamy and fluffy, and it has the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors. This recipe makes enough to generously frost a 9x13 pan of cinnamon rolls.

Easy Cream Cheese Frosting for Cinnamon Rolls

unsalted butter (i.e. ½ stick) (softened)

cream cheese

vanilla extract

salt

In a large mixing bowl, add unsalted butter (¼ cup), cream cheese (4 ounces), vanilla extract (1 teaspoon), and salt (⅛ teaspoon). Use an electric mixer to beat for 20-30 seconds until combined.

Slowly add powdered sugar (1 ½ cups) and beat until combined and smooth (about 30-60 seconds). Slather on warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
