Vanilla Latte Protein Smoothie

vanilla almond milk

vanilla protein powder

banana

espresso powder

coffee flavored yogurt (I used Chobani Greek yogurt)

vanilla extract

Sweetener/sugar/honey to taste (this is personal preference)

Blend

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.

Healthy Coffee Smoothie Recipe

coffee (un-brewed, (not instant coffee))

peanut butter

tsp vanilla extract

almond milk ((or milk of choice))

brewed coffee, (chilled)

frozen banana ((the riper, the sweeter))

raw honey, (as needed, for sweetness (and if not vegan))

ice, (as needed to thicken)

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Add more ice if too liquidy or more almond milk if too thick, as needed.

Serve immediately.

To Make the Healthy Coffee Smoothie Recipe:

To make the smoothie freezer pack,&nbsp;add the ground coffee to the bottom of the bag, followed by&nbsp;banana,&nbsp;vanilla extract,&nbsp;and peanut butter to a freezer bag.

Press the air out of the bag and seal tightly, then place in the freezer.

When ready to blend, add the almond milk and chilled coffee to a blender, followed by the frozen contents from the freezer pack.

Blend until smooth.

Wish I took a picture but it was too delicious for that. I actually prepared two shots (two capsules) from my Nespresso the night before and used Orgain Protein Powder, Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor. I also added about 50 gm Unsweetened Almond Milk because the mixture was quite thick. I'm a coffee lover so the deep flavor was a plus.  I will continue to make this smoothie inspired by you!

I have made this smoothie a few times now. It’s soo good! I added some spinach and couldn’t taste the difference.

I made this for an afternoon treat yesterday with decaf, and it was super good! I didn’t have a frozen banana on hand, so I just used a regular one, and it turned out great.
