I have tried many different recipes online to try and find an “authentic” butter beer/hot buttered rum. This is by far the best one. It also works well cooking on high for half the amount of time.

This is absolutely great hot beverage even without the rum made it so my kids could try it also left out the salt. Don't know why it calls for unsalted butter but then ask u to add salt so I just used salted butter. Very good and highly recommended.

T. 100% pure maple syrup

vanilla extract

club soda

One of my favorite childhood drinks from Japan is Cream Soda, a delicious melon flavored soda drink with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Japanese Cream Soda

Tbsp melon syrup

ice cubes

vanilla ice cream

maraschino cherries ((optional))

Gather all the ingredients.

Put ice cubes into the glass and add 3 Tbsp melon syrup.

Add ¾ cup (180 ml) club soda.

Mix well with a spoon.

Top with vanilla ice cream.

Garnish with a cherry.

tbsp melon syrup

In a tall glass, put in ice cubes about half way or a little higher.

Pour in the melon syrup.

Add in club soda until glass is almost full. Mix well until syrup is completely combined.

Add a couple more cubes of ice on top to make a platform for the ice cream.

Top the drink with 1 scoop of ice cream and one cherry!

Enjoy immediately before it melts!

Matcha Cream Soda

Tbsp Aiya Culinary Grade Matcha

Tbsp cane sugar

C water

C crushed ice cubes

C natural sparkling water

Tbsp heavy whipping cream

Add matcha powder, sugar, and hot water to a bowl and whisk with a bamboo chasen until frothy and sugar has dissolved. It will be quite thick.

Pour the thick matcha into a tall glass. Add crushed ice, and pour sparkling water over the ice.

Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cherry. Stir with a straw and enjoy immediately.

This dairy-free cream syrup is an excellent base for cocktails and soda and is even vegan friendly.
