Almost no prep time and the slow cooker does all the work! The whole family will be licking their plates when this creamy angel chicken recipe is on the menu. Serve it over a bed of angel hair pasta, mashed potatoes, biscuits, or rice. One of our favorite weeknight recipes.

Crockpot Angel Chicken Recipe

chicken breast

garlic (chopped

cream of chicken soup

chicken stock

cream cheese

butter

Italian dressing mix (I used Good Seasons)

angel hair pasta

Spray the inside of the crockpot with no stick cooking spray.

Add the chicken breast.

Add the garlic.

Soften the butter and cream cheese in the microwave.

Whisk until smooth.

Whisk in the cream of chicken soup (don&#39;t dilute it).

Add the Italian dressing mix and the chicken stock.

Whisk until well mixed.

Pour over the chicken breasts.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Just before chicken is done cook the angel hair pasta. Drain.

Serve the chicken over the pasta.

This creamy chicken recipe  is perfect for new cooks because the ingredients are basically open and pour, then the crockpot does the rest!

Creamy CrockPot Chicken

chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)

Italian seasoning

olive oil

onion (chopped)

oz cream cheese

10.5 oz cream of chicken soup

Ranch dressing mix

bell pepper (red

garlic (minced)

Season chicken pieces with Italian seasoning. Heat oil in a medium skillet and brown chicken, 2-3 minutes per side.

Remove chicken from the pan and add butter and onion. Cook until onion is tender.

Place chicken in the bottom of a 6 qt slow cooker and top with onions.

Mix cream cheese, soup, garlic, and dressing mix in a bowl and pour over chicken and add bell pepper.

Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Remove chicken breasts and shred.

Whisk sauce until it is smooth, stir in chicken.

Serve over rice or pasta.

In a large bowl, combine the pepper and onion strips, cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, ranch dip seasoning, and cayenne pepper.

Place the chicken in the bottom of the crock pot, and top with the pepper and onion mixture.

Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Serve over pasta or rice.

Oh yum! This creamy chicken looks incredible over the bed of pasta. I would also love to try it with the quick parmesan garlic bread.

I love how the cayenne adds a nice kick and some heat to this recipe! Delicious!
