Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and place on low for at least two hours. Stir to combine before serving.

My Best Ever Crockpot Hot Chocolate Recipe

heavy whipping cream

oz sweetened condensed milk

vanilla

chocolate chips (milk chocolate OR semi-sweet)

Pour all the ingredients into a crockpot and whisk together until well combined.

Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until mixture is hot and chocolate chips are melted. Whisk well before serving. Garnish as desired (which means MARSHMALLOWS of course!)

According to Amanda you can also make it with white chocolate, butterscotch, even mint chocolate chips. The possibilities here are endless! I’m thinking of maybe trying a salted caramel version… yum!

Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate

heavy cream

cocoa powder

Add half of the heavy cream to the slow cooker. Whisk in the cocoa powder until combined, this might take a while.

Add the remaining cream, milk, sweetened condensed milk, chopped chocolate, and vanilla, stir to combine.

Place on low for 3 hours, stirring every 20 minutes or so until the chocolate is melted and fully combined. Keep on the warm setting for up to 3 hours for serving. If the hot chocolate gets too thick while it sits, you can stir in more milk to your desired thickness.

Serve with your desired toppings such as marshmallows, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, or crushed candy canes!

Combine all hot chocolate ingredients in the slow cooker and stir together.

Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or high for about 2 hours. Stir once 15 minutes after starting the hot chocolate and then again every 45 minutes or so.

Hot chocolate is done when the chocolate is completely melted and mixture is steaming hot.

Grandson loves this hot chocolate   Looks forward each year for it. My husband enjoys it also.

I wish I could give this recipe more than 5 stars! I served it to teenagers and their eyes said it all! Their comment was it was the best hot chocolate ever. I couldn’t agree more. I did make it in a pot on the stove, however. The left overs were just as good warmed up the next day.
