This Amish pot roast is packed full of flavor and loaded with mouth-watering juices! This is truly a downright delicious dinner recipe!

Amish Pot Roast

beef roast (sirloin tip, rump, English cut)

canola oil

onions

soy sauce

c. coffee

bay leaf

garlic (minced)

oregano

Add oil to heavy Dutch oven over medium high heat. Sear roast on all sides in oil.

Whisk together sauce ingredients and pour sauce over the roast.

Place half of onions on top of the roast and the other half into the sauce in the pan.

Cover and roast 4 hours at 325 degrees.

This delicious, cook all day roast has a great flavor with a little kick.  Tender shredded beef made with spices and peppers is great served as a sandwich or over mashed potatoes or mashed cauliflower.

Lazy Crockpot Italian Roast Beef Recipe

beer

oz pepperoncini peppers (use all of the juice and about half of the peppers)

red peppers

onion

tbsp minced garlic

Italian seasoning

Place slow cooker liner in slow cooker, if using

add roast to slow cooker

add stock/soup base, beer, all liquid and half of pepperoncini peppers, roasted peppers, garlic onion and italian seasoning.

cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours.

anytime after 8 hours, open slow cooker and shred beef using two forks.  It should come apart easily.

Carrots ((cut into large pieces))

lb. Yukon Gold Potatoes ((bite-size pieces))

Sprinkle beef roast with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil. Place beef roast in skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side.

Place roast in a slow cooker. Cover with onions, carrots, yukon gold potatoes, and garlic. Pour beef broth over roast. Sprinkle with thyme and brown sugar.

Cook on LOW setting for 8 hours. Remove lid and remove the roast from the slow cooker and place on a platter. Take two forks and shred the roast, removing any fat from the roast. Taste the carrots and potatoes and add more salt and pepper, if needed.

When ready to serve, ladle some of the beef broth onto the beef roast to keep it moist and flavorful. May garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if so desired.

Whisk together steak seasoning and Italian seasoning. Rub seasoning mix all over the roast. Grease a slow cooker. Add roast, beef broth, potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery. Cover and cook on low for 9 hours or on high for 6 hours.

Minutes before serving, prepare the gravy. Drain liquid from sow cooker into a medium sauce pan. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a boil.

Whisk together corn starch and cold water. Add to sauce pan and reduce heat to medium-low. Allow to thicken for 3-5 minutes.

Place roast on a large plate or serving platter. Use a fork to gently pull apart the roast. Pour gravy over roast (and veggies if desired) and serve. Enjoy!

Place the chuck roast in the crockpot. Sprinkle ranch powder and au jus gravy mix all over the beef roast.

Place pepperoncinis on top of the roast. Place a stick of butter on the top of the peppers.

Put the lid on and set it on the low setting. Cook for 8-9 hours. Do NOT open the lid to check on the roast until it has cooked for at least 8 hours on low. This roast may be cooked on high for 5 hours but I wouldn&#39;t suggest it as it won&#39;t be as tender.

Shred the beef with two forks. Taste for seasonings and add salt and pepper, if needed. Serve with the gravy on top of mashed potatoes.

This Crock Pot Mississippi Pork Roast recipe will make your entire house realize how good pork can really taste. oz packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Packet

5-6 tbsp of the pickling juice

Season the Boston Butt roast with cracked pepper and garlic powder. Add the Butt roast into the crock pot.

Add the contents of the au jus packet &amp; the ranch seasoning packet over the Boston Butt roast. Then, scatter the pepperoncinis in the crock pot around the roast and add in a few tbsp of the juice from the jar, as well.

Then, top the roast with the cubes of butter.

Set the crock pot on low and cook for at least 6 hours.

Serve over mashed potatoes and use the crock pot drippings to serve over the potatoes ad the roast! SO GOOD! MAKE IT!

Crockpot Roast Recipe with BBQ

lbs chuck roast (beef, 2″ cubes)

tsp salt

bay leaves

tsp ground paprika

garlic

Tbsp unsalted butter (sliced)

barbecue sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s)

A1 steak sauce (or favorite steak sauce)

Tbsp hot sauce (any brand, optional)

Cube the meat into 2” pieces.

Add the meat to the slow cooker and season all sides. Then add the sliced onion, sliced garlic cloves, and sliced butter.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 4-5 hours.

Once the meat is cooked and tender, remove it from the crockpot. Add the meat to a baking dish and cover with the barbecue sauce mixture.

Broil the meat on high for a couple of minutes or until the meat is crispy.

Serve, and enjoy friends!

I would like to know how I can use the onion broth left in the crockpot. It was delicious too!

This was absolutely amazing!!  I served it on brioche rolls and it was so good.  Even the leftovers were good.  Can’t wait to make again!

Switched out hot sauce for cayenne pepper and it was amazing!

I made this for the first time tonight and it will be a keeper. I forgot to get steak sauce at the store and only added 1 T. of hot sauce (preference with 4 young kids who don’t like spicy eating it too) and it still was super yummy! I served it over cheese pierogis.

When I made this beef the first time approx. 6 months ago, my husband was like "Wow, that was really good!"   The following week he asked "Can you made that beef again?"  LOL, I have made this at least 4 times and will make it again tonight.  A family favorite now!
