These Sweet Potato Dog Treats are so easy to make with just 4 pup-friendly (and human grade) ingredients and a few minutes of prep. Your dog will love them... And you probably will, too!

Sweet Potato Dog Treats

Tbsp melted coconut oil

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp ground ginger

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and brush a large baking sheet with a little bit of the coconut oil.

Peel sweet potato and thinly slice into rounds using either a mandoline or a knife. Rounds should be thin, but not translucent (or they&#39;ll burn more easily). I use the 1/16&quot; settings on the mandoline.

Place rounds on prepared baking sheet and lightly brush the tops with coconut oil. Sprinkle a little cinnamon and ginger over each.

Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and flip each chip. Rotate baking sheet and return to oven for 3-5 more minutes, until sweet potatoes are getting crisp around edges but not getting too brown. Remove and let sweet potato chips rest for about 5 minutes so they can further crisp up.

Chicken and Rice for Dogs

Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

unsalted chicken broth ((can substitute water))

Tbsp chopped parsley ((I recommend curly parsley))

peas, (thawed)

Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add cubed chicken.

Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is just cooked through.

Stir chicken stock, rice, and parsley into the skillet.

Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to low. Cover skillet and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until rice is cooked and tender.

Stir in chopped carrots and peas until warmed through.

Please don't feed your dog rotisserie chicken, it's loaded with salt and fat. You need to also be careful if there is onion and garlic in the seasoning. Please follow this recipe that uses boneless skinless breast meat.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Toss the diced butternut squash, red peppers, and green beans in olive oil and spread in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.

Roast veggies in oven for 20-25 minutes, rotating baking sheet halfway through, until they are tender.

While veggies are roasting, combine the quinoa with broth in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until quinoa is tender and broth is absorbed.

Toss the cooked quinoa and roasted veggies together in a large bowl. Let cool slightly before adding in grated parmesan (if desired) and feeding to your dog.

Cranberry Dog Treats

almond flour

oats

cranberries

egg, (lightly beaten)

honey

coconut oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour and rolled oats.

Add chopped cranberries, lightly beaten egg, honey, and melted coconut oil and mix together until just combined.

On a lightly floured surface, roll dough out to a ¼-inch thick round. Cut out cookies using cookie cutter of any shape.

Place cookies on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Be sure to re-roll any dough scraps to cut out as many cookies as you can

Bake for about 12-15 minutes, until treats are turning golden around edges.

Let cookies rest in in pan for about 5 minutes before moving to wire racks to cool completely.
