Make the filling: Add the raspberries, blackberries, black raspberry liqueur, and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to a large bowl. Stir and let sit for 10 minutes for the berries to macerate.

In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and remaining tablespoon of maple syrup until smooth.

Spread the filling evenly over the 4 slices of bread. Arrange some of the berries on 2 slices of the bread and top with the other slices of bread. Press to seal the pieces together.

In a shallow dish, whisk together the milk, egg, black raspberry liqueur, and salt.

Melt the butter on a griddle or in a large skillet over medium heat. Quickly dip both sides of the bread pockets in the milk mixture, then transfer to the pan and fry on each side for about 3 minutes, until golden brown.

In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add the maple syrup and continue beating until the cream holds medium peaks.

1 loaf sliced brioche bread
4 eggs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup ricotta cheese
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips

8 oz mascarpone cheese
1.5 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
1 cup powdered sugar

Break four eggs into a shallow bowl. Add half &amp; half or cream and vanilla.  Beat together well.

Heat a skillet large enough to hold two slices of bread (about a 10&quot; works well) over medium heat. Add 1 tblsp butter to skillet.

While butter is melting, place a slice of bread into egg mixture and allow it to sit for a few seconds soaking up the eggy mixture. Turn over to second side.

Lift bread with spatula and place in heated skillet.  Repeat with second slice of bread.

Cook 3-4 minutes until golden brown.

Cut your ciabatta bread loaf or mini ciabatta rolls into thick slices of about 3/4 inches to 1 inch.

If your bread is fresh and not firm, bake the slices of ciabatta bread at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes on a baking sheet. Flip halfway and cool down on a wire rack before using in the recipe.

In a shallow bowl, whisk egg, cinnamon, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.

Dip each side of the bread slices for a few seconds into the egg mixture. Wait for a few seconds above the bowl to let the excess egg run back to the bowl. Place the prepared bread slices onto a plate.

Warm the coconut oil or butter in a frying pan. When hot, fry bread slices for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip on the other side. Add more coconut oil if no more is left in the pan. Repeat these steps until all the French toasts are cooked.

Serve immediately with a drizzle of maple syrup and fresh berries.

Vegan Pumpkin French Toast

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the bread. Whisk together and place in your freezer for the batter to set up and get thicker for 15 minutes.

When the batter is thicker, whisk again.

Heat 2-3 tablespoons vegan butter in a pan/griddle over medium high heat until hot.

Dip the toast into the batter, do NOT soak them, and place in the pan/on the griddle to pan fry.

Pan fry on each side for 3-5 minutes until it is crispy on the outside (check to ensure it doesn't burn), then turn over and pan fry on the other side. Both sides should be nice and golden and crispy.

If your pan can hold all the bread, you can put them in all at once, or in two batches.

Serve immediately topped with maple syrup, dusted with cinnamon and coconut cream.

I loved this recipe. The French toast came out delicious with the perfect amount of pumpkin flavour.  I topped mine with coconut cream that I added a bit of pumpkin and cinnamon to and a few pecans and maple syrup!! I will be making these again :)

In a medium bowl add eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.  Mix well using a whisk to ensure eggs and milk are combined and cinnamon does not clump together. 

Place a slice or two of the bread in the egg mixture submerging to fully cover and flip over once to ensure it is covered well.  Bread should be allowed to soak in the egg mixture for about 10-15 seconds to soak in the liquid that gives French Toast it&#x27;s rich custard-like texture.

Add about two teaspoons of butter to a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Place the bread in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes per side.  Every stove is different so if you find that the inside of the toast is not cooking well enough you can also place a lid over the top of the pan. Doing so will raise the temperature inside the pan a bit without the need to turn up the heat and risk scorching the bread.

Remove bread from heat and serve with a generous helping of the delicious Cinnamon Honey Sauce.  Continue the soaking and cooking process until everyone has a serving of this delicious and decadent breakfast treat!

In a small saucepan over medium heat add creamed honey, unsalted butter, cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir often until butter and honey are melted and cinnamon and lemon juice are combined.

Using a whisk slowly add the heavy cream to the honey mixture stirring constantly.  Then let come to a soft boil for about 1 minute.  Remove from heat and continue to whisk for one minute.  Let cool and rest. 

Serve by pouring over the already made Cinnamon French Toast.  Enjoy!
