Santa's Trash Cookies

c. (2 sticks) butter, softened

c. sugar

brown sugar

pure vanilla extract

c. all-purpose flour

baking soda

kosher salt

c. crushed potato chips

c. crushed pretzels

c. chocolate chips

c. red and green sprinkles

These cookies are yummy! Used over the 1/4 cup of both pretzels and chips and doubled the chocolate chips. They are far from bland, nor are they dry. I’d make these again!

Very dry when made as directed. Will try again, but I’ll decide when I’ve added enough flour mixture. The taste was good.

Made them this morning. Doubled the Chipits, increased the chips and pretzels to a quarter cup. Turned out amazing!! A keeper.

I was surprised by the lack of flavor.  I thought there would be distinct salty and sweet taste.  I doubled the chocolate chips and baked them for 9 minutes.  The bottoms we're a nice golden brown.  The tops did not brown at all.  But, they were not dry.  There was nothing about these cookies that made them stand out.  Doubt I'll make them again.

These are not good. Not even a little bit. They have no flavor except salt.

These are tasty, but I recommend 1/2 cup (each) of pretzels and potato chips, and doubling the amount of chocolate chips. Also, I found that they needed to cook more like 9-10 minutes.

I really loved the idea of these! I followed the recipe exactly. The dough was very thick, as noted, which made it very hard to stir in the chocolate chips, potato chips, and pretzels evenly. They baked up fine, but I found them to be a bit bland. I couldn't really taste the potato chips or the pretzels much. Next time, I'd omit the pretzels and replace with more chocolate and potato chips, or omit the potato chips and replace with more chocolate and pretzels. I suggest dipping these in melted chocolate and sprinkling more crushed potato chips and pretzels on top to give them a flavor boost and make them look more festive.

These came out nothing like the picture and are super dry.

Holiday hit. Everyone asked for the recipe. Texture is a bit like a pecan sandies, which might be perceived as dryness.

I wanted to love these. But they turned out horrible. The dough was so dry and crumbly, so I formed them in my hands. Baked, cooked, and they’re SO dry. They’re awful. So disappointed.

they looked pretty, but were too dry when I ate them. Would not recommend.

I made these for a pot luck at work and they were gone within minutes! Everyone loved them and I am making them again next week for a baby shower! <strong>Amazing, easy and tasty!</strong>

These came out great. I like the idea of adding m&ms. I’ll try that next time. I’ll see what everyone at school thinks tomorrow. I’m entering them in our cookie contest.

Red Velvet Cheesecake Bites

Made these according to the recipe.  Left them in the freezer overnight, trust me they were frozen.  Rolled them in the cupcake crumbs and they were absolutely delicious.  Everyone that had them on Christmas Day raved about them.

Super excited to make these with my family. Quick, rather cheap and sounds wonderful! Now, typically I ignore rudeness, however this time i felt as tho I'm gonna give my opinion! This is simply a recipe, there isn't any need for ugly/rude remarks! Gosh...Kids these day's are rather rude and bullies, seemingly it makes since when adults(who are parents) have kid's just like them! Any how...I appreciate the recipe, as it involves my husband's 2 favorite desserts combined in ONE.

Not sure what went wrong, but mine came out to soft.  And after I froze them the cake did not adhere very well.

I followed the directions to the letter. They turned out perfect. I don't think that you have to adjust the recipe.

Made these for my husband and he loved them. This is a go to snack. For the house or even a party and family gathering. Who knew it would be soooooo good.

Big hit! Loved them! I added powdered sugar and mixed long and chilled in freezer in stainless steel to set up!

Maybe they needed more sugar.. They were not very appetizing

I tried these for a girls holiday get together.  First, I'd suggest to make in the form of cupcakes since that is easier to freeze.  I barely used 1/3 of one 9 inch pan. Maybe I did something wrong? It seemed a bit like too much cream cheese. Maybe I made them too large but they didn't seem to harder. I may throw it back in a bowl with a mixer and redo and try to incorporate more cake crumbs for something tomorrow.

I had no issues with the recipe. I did add more powdered sugar, just to sweeten. I didn't bother trying to make a perfect ball shape, instead I just blobbed it on the parchment paper lol. I let it set up for a full hour in the freezer, and no issues with the cake crumbs sticking. 
I doubled the recipe, so I left some sit in the freezer while I coated the first batch. 
They will be served at my sisters birthday party tomorrow. So, I had my kiddos do the taste test... they loved them. 😊❤

My cheesecake mixture never got stiff peaks and never firmed up, even though I put it in the freezer. It finally got cold enough that I could roll something that resembled balls in the red velvet crumbs. Since it's July Fourth, I tucked a large blueberry in the middle of each. I finally put the finished balls in the freezer and we ate them as frozen treats. They were delicious, and the blueberry in the middle was a fun surprise in taste and texture.

I made these and they never peaked nor did the cheesecake get hard after hours in the freezer.  I followed the recipe to a T. Anyone else have this issue and did you find a way to fix it?? Help please

This recipe is an absolute lie. The cheesecake mixture does not firm up at all and makes a huge mess. Someone clearly left something out of this recipe 0/10 do not reccomend

These Red Velvet Cheesecake Bites Are Like Little Balls Of Heaven

These Peppermint Truffles are made with a sweet and creamy dark chocolate peppermint ball coated in white chocolate and topped with crushed candy canes. You can&#39;t have Christmas without chocolate and peppermint and these festive truffles make the best holiday candy! Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, paleo with low carb and keto sweetener options. 

Peppermint Truffles

maple syrup

peppermint extract (can

⅛ teaspoon fine grain sea salt

plant-based protein powder

dairy-free white chips chocolate

coconut oil

red & white candy canes or peppermint candies

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a medium pot or over a double-boiler, combine the chocolate and coconut cream on low heat, while stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth and combined. Stir in the nut butter and maple syrup. Remove the pot from the heat and add the peppermint, vanilla, salt and optoinal protein powder (if using) and whisk again until very smooth. Taste and add more sweetener or peppermint extract to taste.Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes, or until firm enough to roll into balls

Scoop out 1/2 - 1 tablespoon-sized dough and roll it into a ball, repeating with the remaining dough. Place your truffles onto the prepared baking sheet and place the pan in the freezer for 10 minutes, or until firm.

Meanwhile, add white chocolate and coconut oil into a heat-safe bowl and melt over a double-boiler. Or, heat in the microwave in 20 second increments, mixing well in between, until smooth.Use a spoon to dip the truffles into the melted chocolate, then return them to the lined pan.Drizzle in a zig zag any remaining chocolate over the truffles and top each with a sprinkle of crushed candy canes.Return the pan to the fridge or freezer, for 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.

Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Strawberries

fat free milk

vanilla bean (split open)

gelatin (Knox)

half and half cream

tbsp sugar

salt

strawberries

tsp sugar

Place the fat free milk in a medium heavy saucepan with the seeds from the vanilla bean.

Sprinkle the gelatin over the milk and let it stand for 10 minutes to soften the gelatin grains.

In the meantime, prepare an ice bath in a large plastic bowl.

After 10 minutes have passed, heat the saucepan and stir over medium heat just until the gelatin dissolves but the milk does not boil, about 3 minutes.

Add the half &amp; half cream, 5 tbsp sugar and salt.

Whisk well and and leave until the mixture is hot, but do not let it come to a boil, about 4 to 5 minutes.

Remove from the heat, then transfer the liquid into a clean, metal medium-sized bowl.

Place the bowl in the ice bath to cool for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture begins to thicken.

Divide the mixture evenly, about 1/2 cup each between 6 small dessert bowls or glass parfait glasses, then cover each with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
