This Starbucks egg bites recipe costs $1 for two, is keto, portable, and freezer-friendly! Make them in the oven or Instant Pot sous vide. They are also gluten-free and rich in protein and vitamins.

Starbucks Egg Bites Recipe

eggs (at room temperature)

OVEN: Preheat oven to 300 °F (148° C). Grease very well a standard 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray and reserve. Meanwhile, blend whole eggs or only whites with cheese, cream cheese, and seasonings in the blender until frothy.

Pour mixture into the greased muffin tin and place your add-ins such as cooked bacon bites and spinach, or roasted red pepper and basil.

Place muffin tin into a large roasting pan with boiling water coming halfway up. Bake the whole egg mixture for about 30 minutes but the egg white mixture for about 20-25 minutes. They are ready when egg bites are just set and have a custard-like texture.

Let pan cool on a rack for 3 minutes, run a knife around the edges to loosen them, and gently remove bites. You may use a spoon or invert them over a platter. Don’t wait much longer than 3 minutes or they may become difficult to remove. Serve while hot.

PRESSURE COOKER/INSTANT POT SOUS VIDE: Set up your Instant Pot or pressure cooker by pouring 1 cup of water inside the bowl and then place the rack/trivet. Next, put the silicone mold filled with the egg bites batter on top. Make sure to cover the mold with aluminum foil, lock the lid, and turn the valve.

Press the STEAM or SOUS VIDE function for 10 minutes. It may take about 5 minutes or so for the pressure to build up and the function to start working. After the 10 minutes are up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes before removing the egg bites.

If you are using this method to cook our egg bites, it will take about 30 minutes from start to finish for this recipe (5 minutes prep, 5 minutes to build pressure, 10 minutes to cook, and 10 minutes to release natural pressure).

Bacon & Gruyere Egg Bites

The BEST Egg Bites Recipe

milk

gruyere or cheddar cheese, grated

tbsp cooked bacon, crumbled (2-3 slices) (*Optional)

½ tbsp fresh chives, chopped

tbsp butter, melted

tbsp ketchup (*Optional)

Preheat oven to 275°F.

If not already done, cook your bacon in the oven or in a skillet until crispy. Crumble into bits and set aside.

(Reserve 2 tbsp of cheese and 1/2 tbsp of bacon.) Add eggs, milk, bacon (if using), cheese, chives and ketchup in a bowl. Whisk well!

Using a mini muffin tin, brush melted butter generously inside each cup. (You can also use nonstick spray or liners to prevent them from sticking. If using liners, spray them as well.)*You can also use a regular sized tin if you wish. Using a mini ice cream scoop or small ladle, add the egg mixture to each muffin cup making sure to scoop the bacon/cheese sitting on the bottom of the bowl! Fill each cup to the brim then top with remaining cheese and bacon.

Bake for 10-15 minutes on the MIDDLE rack for mini egg muffins and 16-20 minutes for regular sized egg muffins.*Depending upon your oven and the size of your muffin tin, they may need to bake longer! Try to keep from opening and closing the oven since this will drop the temperature. You are looking for the center to be slightly jiggly. You do NOT want to overcook your eggs!

As soon as you can handle them, GENTLY use a knife or small silicone spatula to loosen the outside of each egg cup to allow your bites to slide out. Turning the tin upside down helps.Do not wait for them to cool or they will be tougher to remove.

Eat immediately or store in the fridge for 3-4 days in a sealed container.

Starbucks Copycat Egg Bites NO SOUS VIDE!

Just like your favorite sous vide egg bites from Starbucks, this copycat recipe for egg bites is done completely in the Instant Pot. Includes recipe for roasted red pepper, kale and mushroom, and bacon and gruyère bites.

Copycat Starbucks Egg Bites (Instant Pot Recipe)

(113 grams) cottage cheese

(56 grams) Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)

½ Tablespoon (8 grams) hot sauce

onion

½ (30 grams) roasted red pepper (chopped)

kale

mushrooms

(56 grams) gruyère cheese (shredded)

(28 grams) crumbled bacon (divided)

Add 1 cup (240mL) of cold water to the bottom of your Instant Pot and insert the metal trivet (that came with your Instant Pot). Set aside.

For each egg bites recipe, follow the same instructions: add the eggs, shredded cheese, cottage cheese, and hot sauce (for red pepper bites) to a blender. Process until smooth (about 30 seconds).

Add the add ins (reserving about 1 Tablespoon of crumbled bacon1 for the bacon and gruyère bites) and then pulse a few times to blend.

Divide the egg mixture evenly between the seven egg bites compartments of the silicone mold1,2, taking care not to fill them to the top. You can cover the mold with with foil if you prefer, but I find it is not totally necessary.

Carefully place the silicone mold inside the Instant Pot on top of the trivet. Place the lid on the Instant Pot, lock it, and set the vent to sealing. Cook the egg bites on the MANUAL (high pressure) setting and set the timer for 10 minutes.

When the Instant Pot beeps, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then carefully release any remaining pressure and remove the lid. Remove the silicone mold from the Instant Pot, allow the egg bites to deflate and cool for a few minutes, then turn out onto a plate and enjoy immediately. Store leftover egg bites in the refrigerator up to 5 days. Egg bites can be frozen, up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator and reheat as needed.

Whole30 Bacon Egg bites, inspired by the popular Starbucks Bacon and Gruyere Egg Bites, are perfect for meal prep. Learn how to make bacon egg bites with just a handful of ingredients and 15 minutes of prep time.

Eggs (large)

Bacon ((Whole30 Compatible) chopped into small pieces)

Add all of the cashew cream ingredients to a blender or blender cup and blend until it forms a smooth paste

Then top with pieces of bacon

Next place the muffin tin, into another baking pan, then place on the middle rack in the oven, then and pour about 3 cups of hot water into the baking pan until it come about half way up the muffin tin.

Bake at 300°F for 25 minutes, or until the eggs are completely cooked

Allow to cool completely before removing from the muffin tin

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a nonstick muffin tin with olive oil.

In a blender, place the eggs, cottage cheese, salt, and several grinds of pepper. Blend until smooth.

Place the spinach in a steamer basket and set over a pot filled with 1 inch of water. Bring the water to a simmer, cover, and steam for 1 minute, or until the spinach is wilted. Transfer to a strainer and squeeze out the excess water. Roughly chop.

Place the spinach in a medium bowl and add the peppers and scallions. Toss to combine and measure ¼ cup of the mixed vegetables. Set aside.

Evenly divide the remaining veggies among the muffin cups. Pour a scant ¼ cup of the egg mixture over the vegetables in each well. Divide any remaining egg mixture evenly among the wells. Evenly sprinkle the reserved ¼ cup vegetables on top.

Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until the eggs are set. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150°C) and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or oil.

Keto Bacon Egg and Cheese Bites

cream cheese (softened)

coconut flour OR almond flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium size mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Make sure to break up the cream cheese as you stir.

Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes for the flour to absorb some of the moisture. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!

Spray a regular mini muffin pan or use a silicone muffin pan (my recommendation) and fill each cup about 3/4 full.

Bake 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Just made these. They’re good but definitly need seasoning. Salt, pepper, onion powder, some paprika.  My fault for not doing it while I was mixing everything up    I used all sharp cheddar. Maybe a stronger cheese or mix in another type?

Place a medium sized baking dish filled 1/2 full of water into the bottom rack of the oven. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Lightly spray a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray.

Place eggs, cottage cheese, cheeses, hot sauce, salt, pepper and cornstarch into the blender. Blend on high speed for a good minute, until well combined and smooth.

Slowly and carefully pour egg mixture into the muffin cups, filling 3/4 way full.
