Fruit Salad Recipe

sugar

fruit (in bite sized pieces)

In a medium saucepan whisk together sugar, cornstarch, salt, milk, and egg yolks. Cook over medium-low heat, whisking frequently, until the mixture is bubbling and thickened, about 8-10 minutes. Note: It will thicken a little more as it cools, but we want it on the thinner side so that it can be poured over the fruit.&nbsp;

Remove from heat and whisk in butter and vanilla extract. Optional: Place a fine mesh strainer over a large heatproof bowl. Pour the mixture through the strainer and into the bowl (Optional step to remove lumps. If you have no lumps, you can skip this step and just pour the pudding directly into a bowl).&nbsp;Place the bowl of pudding in the fridge (I like to place plastic wrap directly on it to prevent a skin from forming). Chill completely.&nbsp;

Pudding:

Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat on medium-high speed for several minutes until soft peaks form. Cover and chill until assembly.&nbsp;

Whipped cream:

Layer fruit in a trifle dish or large bowl. Remove the pudding from fridge and whisk it vigorously until smooth. Pour the pudding evenly over the fruit, then spread the whipped cream on top. If desired, top with additional fruit. Best if served immediately, or within an hour or two.&nbsp;

In a large bowl whisk together the honey, orange juice, and lime juice until well combined.

Add the sliced Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, kiwi, nectarines, bananas, and oranges to the bowl.

Gently stir with a large spoon until the fruit is well coated in dressing.

Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.  This salad is best eaten within 3 days.

Wash and dry all the strawberries, grapes, blueberries. Then peel the pineapple, oranges, and mangoes. Slice all the fruit into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.

Drizzle and Toss

Drizzle the honey lime dressing on top of the fruit salad, gently toss everything together, and enjoy!

FRUIT SALAD | the best recipe (and so easy!)

This Breakfast Fruit Salad is an easy recipe to start the day with a refreshing, vitamin-loaded rainbow bowl! Bonus, this fruit salad recipe is also easy to adapt based on your fruit season.

Breakfast Fruit Salad

Seedless Grape (halved)

Strawberries (hulled, halved)

Blueberries

Oranges (peeled and sectioned)

Banana (sliced)

Mango (cored, sliced)

Kiwi Fruits (peeled and sliced)

Orange Juice (Freshly Squeezed)

Lime juice (Freshly Squeezed)

Orange flower water (or Rose water)

Ground Cinnamon

Orange Zest

Maple Syrup (optional)

Peel the mango, oranges, and kiwi fruits. Dice them and place them in a large mixing bowl.

Wash the berries and grapes under cold tap water. Drain the berries and grapes in absorbent paper to remove excess water.

Core and slice the strawberries in halves.

Add banana slices, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries to the bowl.

Cover the bowl and store it for up to 1 day in the fridge or serve immediately with the following syrup.

In a small bowl, stir the orange juice, lime juice, maple syrup, cinnamon, and orange zest.

Just before serving, drizzle the previous syrup over the fruits, add freshly chopped mint if using, and gently toss fruits to flavor with dressing.

Fruit Salad Dressing

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 day if fruits are soaked in syrup or 2 days if fruits are plain.

Storage

Feel free to double or triple the recipe for a large crowd fruit salad.

Grape Salad with Greek Yogurt only takes about 5 minutes to make and has a handful of simple ingredients; cream cheese, Greek yogurt, sugar, vanilla, and grapes. Top it off with a walnut brown sugar streusel for extra yumminess! You are going to fall in love with how easy and how dreamy this salad is!

Grape Salad Recipe (healthy/lightened up with Greek yogurt)

vanilla Greek yogurt

brown sugar

walnuts (roughly chopped)

Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add  Greek yogurt and mix together until smooth. Add 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla. Mix. (See notes about omitting sugar)

Fold grapes into the creamy mixture.

Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour, or overnight.

Just before serving sprinkle top of the salad with brown sugar and walnuts. (See notes about omitting sugar.

Whisk together orange juice, pineapple juice, and honey.

Toss

Add fruit to a large bowl and add the dressing, tossing gently to combine.

Chill

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. Chill until ready to serve.

Stir the sugar, water, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Cool to room temperature and then cool completely in the fridge.

Lemon Vanilla Glaze

Put all of the fruit in a large bowl, pour the chilled glaze over it, and stir to combine. Cover an store in the fridge.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lime juice, maple syrup, ginger, and salt.

In a large bowl, toss together the strawberries, peaches, cherries, blueberries, raspberries, basil, and mint. Drizzle the dressing on top and toss to coat. Garnish with basil and mint and serve.

red grapes (or green grapes, about 3 cups)

strawberries (about 2 cups sliced)

blueberries (about 1 cup)

blackberries (about 1 ½ cups)

Wash and dry the fruits well. Peel, core and chop the pineapple, slice the strawberries and peel and chop the kiwi. Combine all fruit in a large bowl.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lime zest, lime juice and honey. Pour over the fruit and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.

I made this according to the recipe and the blueberries and blackberries changed everything to an ugly dark blue/black/grey. It was delicious but ugly. I will not make again.

April 29th 2024. I made Kristine's Fruit Salad for a family gathering this past weekend and it was a hit. Most of the 15 people that were here, came up to me at some point during the evening, and told me how much they loved the fruit salad. I ommitted the strawberries bc I don't really like them but added a bit more of the other fruits to make up for that. I also used both red &amp; green seedless grapes. Twice I walked into a conversation about the fruit salad and someone would say "is there a glaze on this?", or, "this salad is delicious, what's in it?" or "can I please have the receipt". I double double recommend trying this fruit salad. I made this receipt yesterday. A day later my husband is asking me to please make it again,SOON! 😊

This was delicious! The dressing put it over the top! I used fresh mango in mine instead of grapes because I did not have grapes on hand and the mangos worked really well! I chopped all the fruit in the morning but kept the kiwi separate. I added the kiwi and the dressing right before serving. Worked perfectly and the colors were stunning and it tasted so good! My whole family loved it!

We had this with out Easter brunch - it was delightful.  I used maple syrup instead of honey to make it vegan - delicious.

Creamy Apple Fruit Salad: A 4-Ingredient Dreamy Delight

(8 oz) pkg. Neufchatel cheese, softened slightly (light cream

(8 oz) pkg. light sour cream

lbs crisp, sweet apples, chilled (Gala, Jazz, Golden Delicious)

For the dressing: In a mixing bowl using an electric hand mixer, whip together Neufchatel cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg on high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

Add sour cream and vanilla and blend until combined. Chill until ready to serve salad.

For the fruit salad: In a medium mixing bowl combine water and lemon juice. Dice apples into cubes, removing the core, and soak them in the lemon water mixture for about 1 minute, then drain on paper towels.

Transfer apples to a bowl along with 3/4 of the walnuts and 3/4 of the cranberries, and the Neufchatel cheese mixture.

Toss to coat apples evenly. Sprinkle remaining walnuts and cranberries over top. Keep chilled and serve within an hour.
