Cilantro Avocado Ranch Dressing

chives

parsley

garlic powder

onion powder

rice vinegar

water,

black pepper (or 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper)

avocado, chopped

cilantro, roughly chopped

juice of 1 lime

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse until smooth.

Taste, add salt and pepper to taste and water to thin to desired consistency. (Add more water for a salad dressing, less if using as a dip)

Chill until ready to serve. Store covered tightly and chilled up to 1 week.

greek yogurt ((full fat))

garlic powder ((or 1 minced clove))

lemon juice

dijon mustard

olive oil ((optional))

Add the yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, chives, dill, lemon juice, salt, pepper, mustard, and olive oil, if using, to a mixing bowl and whisk well. Add 1 tablespoon of water, if needed, to help thin the dressing.

Transfer the dressing to a storage container with a lid and store in the fridge for at least 2 hours to chill, to let the flavor fully develop. Then serve with your favorite sliced veggies or pour over a salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

I halved the recipe for my husband and I. It was delicious and bumped up the protein for our meal. I love that it made a nutritious dressing without preservatives and extra protein and a figure friendly ranch dressing!

I used mirin instead of rice vinegar (and doubled the amount) and it turned out great! The sweetness helped hide the tangy Greek yogurt flavor.

Wow. Tastes nothing like ranch dressing.   Maybe if it sits for a day or two it will be better.  Super disappointed!

Here’s an idea for how long it lasts: look at the expiration date on your Greek yogurt container. When you factor in the fact that you’re putting 2 natural preservatives in it - salt and garlic - it will probably last longer than that.

I have tried several ranch dressing recipes and this is by far the best and only one hubby approved! Thank you!

5-Minute Healthy Greek Yogurt Salad Dressing

plain low-fat Greek yogurt

tbsp red wine vinegar

tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Dijon mustard

garlic, grated or minced

tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped

tsp Kosher salt

pepper

water

Add Greek yogurt, red wine vinegar, olive oil, mustard, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper to a small mixing bowl.

Whisk all the ingredients together until well combined and creamy. The mixture will be pretty thick.

Pour in the water and continue to whisk. This will thin it out to the consistency of a creamy salad dressing.

Add a few more tablespoons of water if a thinner dressing is desired.

I liked it. I’m just having to get used to not using full fat hidden valley ranch recipe. This was quite good. Much better than bottled fat free ranch. Do you have the calories/nutritional content? 

Love this! I even substituted apple cider vinegar and it is amazing and satisfying.

Definitely omit the water,
Add some cumin, and paprika - but my favorite bit, I switched out the red wine vinegar for this amazing citrus champagne vinegar I have - it's now one of the tastiest dips/dressings I've ever had in my life. 

I highly recommend this on couscous salad, with any add-ins you like mixed together and then put in a wrap!

I love this recipe as a base. I add 1- 2 tsp of Zaatar or just sumac 
And I do find it a bit tart for me so I also add 1 tbsp of honey.

I think by posting a recipe you should provide macros. It just being responsible.

My girlfriend is doing WW so I am doing it along with her for support. I looked at this recipe to enjoy a lower point salad dressing and gave it a remix for what I had on hand. I used plain low-fat Greek yogurt, rice wine vinegar, yellow mustard, garlic, dill, leftover veggies of onion/bell pepper/carrots, salt, and pepper. Put it all in the Ninja to mix and it is delicious and 0 points for WW!

Greek Yogurt Salad Dressing Recipe | Daisybeet

Flavor-packed crispy and healthy Falafel loaded with mixed vegetables and cooked in an air fryer (or baked). A great appetizer served with a Cilantro-Yogurt Sauce! This homemade recipe is super easy to execute, and sure to satisfy your cravings.

Healthy Mixed Vegetable Falafel (Air-Fryer or Baked)

Broccoli Florets (90 grams)

Carrots (Chopped, 64 grams)

⅓ medium White Onion (Chopped, 35 grams)

Cilantro

Tbsp Tahini

Tbsp Minced Garlic (about 3-4 cloves)

1½ tsp Cumin Powder

½ tsp Cardamom Powder

Salt

¼ tsp Black Pepper

¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper (more

Greek Yogurt (about 100 grams)

Lemon

½ Tbsp Tahini

tsp Minced Garlic

Put chickpeas in a bowl and fill with water, about 3” over the top surface of the chickpeas. Soak for 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking sheet, or use an air fryer.

Place all ingredients - soaked chickpeas, broccoli, carrots, onion, cilantro, minced garlic, tahini, cumin, cardamom, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper - in a food processor and pulse until finely minced. Do not over-pulse - the mixture should be coarse/paste-y.

Use your hands or a cookie scoop to shape falafel mixture into small balls or patties and place in air fryer basket or prepared baking sheet.

Air fry at 350°F for about 15 minutes, or Bake for 25 minutes, flipping half way, until golden brown and crisp. See notes for frying.

Combine all ingredients for sauce in a bowl.

Serve falafel with the cool sauce and a warm pita!

I made this recipe today and it was amazing.
I actually had some veggie pulp leftovers from juicing (beetroots, celeriac, carrots and apples).
I first blended the soaked chickpeas, tahini, garlic, onion and spices, then just stirred in the veggie pulp. I adjusted the spices, added a bit more cumin, cayenne pepper and cardamom powder.
I shaped the mixture into balls and baked them for 30 minutes flipping halfway. They looked golden brown, but were not crispy. I didn’t mind though. 
In the yoghurt sauce I added just a touch of salt and pepper and a bit more garlic.
This combination was indeed BOMB! I couldn’t stop eating!

High Protein Ranch Dressing

Ounces Greek Yogurt (Fat Free Plain (Look for high protein!))

½ Ounces Sour Cream (Low Fat)

½ Teaspoon Onion Powder

½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Teaspoon Parsley (Dried or 1 Tablespoon Fresh)

Teaspoon Dill Weed (Dried

Teaspoon Chives (Dried or 1 Tablespoon Fresh)

¼ Teaspoon Black Pepper

½-1 Scoop Protein Powder (Unflavored (Optional))

Water

Take out a mixing bowl or food processor

Add all of your ingredients into whatever you&#39;re using

Mix or process until smooth, scraping down the sides of your food processor as needed

If needed, add in Water until it&#39;s you reach your desired consistency

Store it in a sealed container in the fridge

This is a great recipe. It’s always a hit with whoever I’ve made it for. I don’t use the protein powder, but love that it’s clean.
