Fantastic recipe! Easy to throw together, one hundred percent reccomend on the grill. The sauce is a bonus, but not necessary, it's wonderful without as well.

The pork was delicious.  However, we found the rub to be overly salty.  Would cut the salt back significantly or even cut it out completely.

Made this. It was good. It didn't get the "good enough for company" stamp from my mother and brother. If i make it again I'd probably just dress arugula with a vinaigrette similar to the herb sauce, but if this recipe sounds good to you them make it. It's pork tenderloin. The only way it's not good is if you over cook it.

Italian seasoning

Trim the tenderloin of any excess fat and silver skin. Rub with dijon mustard.

In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle over tenderloin.

Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat, 450 to 500 degrees F.

Place tenderloin directly over high heat to grill 15 minutes (with the lid closed), rotating every 2 to 3 minutes. If pork begins to blacken too much, remove to indirect heat to finish cooking.

Remove the pork tenderloin from the grill when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Let pork rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

provolone cheese

Cut each tenderloin into 2-3 inch pieces. &nbsp;Set each piece upright so cut side faces up. &nbsp;Pound each piece into an approximate ½-inch steak. &nbsp;Arrange in a glass baking dish and cover with Italian dressing, coat each piece well, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.

Heat grill.  Remove tenderloins from marinade to a plate.  Slice onion and lightly drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Have rolls split and ready to grill.

Grill pork until done, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.  At the same time, grill red onions, flipping once until just lightly grilled.  Place slice of provolone over two pieces of pork (or one piece of pork, depending on size) and close grill to melt.  Remove to platter along with onions.  Place split rolls on grill and toast lightly.

To assemble, place pork tenderloin piece(s) on bottom half roll, topped with some grilled onion, BBQ sauce and pickles.  Top with other half of roll.  Slice in half and serve.  Enjoy.

In Ziploc bag combine paprika, brown sugar, cumin, chili powder and cayenne pepper. Rub over pork tenderloin and refrigerate from 2 hours to overnight.

In small bowl combine honey, barbecue sauce and Dijon mustard.

Preheat the grill to 425-450 degrees; lighting only half the burners. Add the pork tenderloin to the side of the grill that is lit and cover. Cook for about 5-6 minutes. Roll the tenderloin over and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.  Move the tenderloin to the side that is not lit. Baste with barbecue sauce mixture every 2-3 minutes. Continue cooking until the pork tenderloin reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees.  Remove the meat from the grill, plate and cover loosely with an aluminum foil tent.  Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

This is a fabulous recipe…of the three I’ve tried so far on the outside grill it’s the hands 
 down winner!!  I did boost the pepper in the rub a bit (hey, we live in Texas! 😁) and I tripled the Dijon mustard but this is probably because of the base BBQ sauce I used….taste yours as you add mustard until you like it): Finaly I recommend drybrining for a few to several hours after you trim away the fat and silver skin. I'm sharing my method for the most unbelievably juicy grilled pork tenderloin, which cooks in under 15 minutes. A filling and healthy summer dinner!

Heat grill on high until it reaches 500 degrees then turn one burner down to low.

Rub pork tenderloin all over with extra virgin olive oil then season with desired seasonings. Add pork to the high heat side of the grill then grill for 1-1/2 minutes on all four sides, for a total of 6 minutes, keeping the lid closed between flipping.

Move pork tenderloin to the side of the grill with low heat then grill for an additional 4 minutes on each of the two larger sides, for a total of 8 more minutes, or until an instant read thermometer reads 140 degrees, keeping the lid closed between flipping. Let pork rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

How to Grill a Pork Tenderloin on a Gas Grill

Trim the tenderloin of any excess fat and the silverskin.

This is the point to brine if you wish. Start with 4 cups of water with 4 tablespoons salt. Add 2-4 tablespoons sugar if you want. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours. When done with the brine, remove from brine, rinse under running water, and pat dry. Salt and pepper or other seasoning at this point, but DO NOT ADD SALT if you brine. 

Brush the grill with oil. Preheat grill to a surface temperature of 450° to 500°. Medium on my super-duper grill but medium-high on lesser grills. Clean and oil.

Place over direct heat. Close lid. Rotate 1/3 every 5 minutes until done to your liking. About 25 minutes for 140°. About 30 minutes for 150° (my wife&#039;s favorite). Remember, do not cook by time along. Use a thermometer. Time to get to your final temperature varies by weight of the tenderloin, exact surface temperature of the grill and the tenderloin at the start.

Remove from grill a few degrees less than your desired final temperature. Tent lightly for 5 minutes before serving.

Asian Pork Tenderloin

Tbsp brown sugar

tsp ground ginger

In a small bowl mix together all ingredients except pork tenderloins.

Place pork tenderloin in container and pour half of marinade over them or place them in gallon ziploc bag and pour half of marinade over the tenderloins. Place remaining marinade in fridge in air tight container.

Place in refrigerator for 4-8 hours to marinate.

Preheat grill to 350 degrees. Place tenderloins on grill. Grill for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees. Rotate the tenderloins every 10 minutes and baste with remaining marinade.&nbsp;

Remove from grill and cover with foil. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.&nbsp;

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, brown sugar, and Tennessee Apple Butter seasoning until well combined. Generously rub the pork tenderloin with the mixture. Allow the pork tenderloin to marinade for 1 hour.

Head Country BBQ sauce (divided)

Build a 2 zone fire in your grill for indirect cooking. Prep the grill by arranging the coals on one side to create a 2-zone fire. Allow to the grill to come to and maintain 225 to 250.

Prep the Grill:

Remove the pork tenderloin from the package and pat dry.

Trim the silverskin from the tenderloin clean up and unnecessary fat pieces.

Trim the pork

On a clean work surface, arrange the bacon in a single layer, with long edges barely overlapping. Make a 10 to 12” rectangle, long enough to go long edge to long edge of your tenderloin.

Place the tenderloin in the center of the bacon and season with salt and PK. Roll the pork tenderloin making sure to evenly coat all sides.

Brust all sides with a thin layer of Head Country BBQ sauce.

Carefully wrap the bacon slices around the tenderloin. Start with the last strip of bacon you placed down to make the rectangle.

Grab the thin edge of back and wrap it around the pork at an angle.

Repeat with the thicker edge overlapping the first. Layer the rest of the bacon strips on weaving them slightly over one another, tightly tucking the edges in until you reach the end.

Secure the bacon in place with toothpicks or kitchen twine.

Wrap the pork in bacon

Place the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin on the cooler side of the grill and cover.

Grill for 1 hour. Check the tenderloin and baste with barbecue sauce.

Flip with grilling tongs and baste the other side.

Continue grilling for another 1 ½ to 2 hours until the pork temps at 140F, checking every 30 minutes to make sure the bacon isn’t overcooking.

In the last 10 minutes of grilling, baste with barbecue sauce one final time.

If the bacon hasn't crisped enough, increase the heat on the grill and carefully sear the bacon.

Once the pork has temped at 140° F, and the bacon is as crisp as you would like, remove the pork tenderloin from the grill.

Smoke the Pork

Allow the pork to rest for 5 minutes and the meat to come to 145° F.

Rest

Remove all the toothpicks before slicing and serving hot.

Add extra barbecue on the side if you want more kick for dipping!
