Easy OREO ball recipes shaped into mini cauldrons with green candy melts, sprinkles, candy eyes, and a pretzel stick.

Cauldron OREO Balls

OREO Cookies

cream cheese (softened)

dipping chocolate

pretzel sticks

Crush OREO cookies in a food processor until finely ground.

Mix room temperature cream cheese with crushed cookies until finely combined.

Use a cookie scoop to form OREO balls. Place them on a baking sheet; refrigerate for 1 hour.

Shape the balls into a cauldron shape by pressing down on the top then use a toothpick to form the top of the cauldron. Freeze for 15 minutes.

Prepare green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.

Use a spoon or piping bag to decorate the top of the cauldron with the melted green chocolate, creating an oozing effect over the sides.

Decorate with candy decorations and a broken pretzel stick.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Roll out the pizza dough and sprinkle cheese around the border. Fold the edges of the pizza around the cheese, creating a stuffed crust. Cover the pizza with tomato sauce and more cheese.

On the second pizza dough,  place the large mozzarella ball on one end and fold over the dough to form the head. Then wrap the head in bacon. Place on the pizza and fill the mouth with tomato sauce. Cut the hot dogs in half and cut pieces of the ends to make a nail shape. Place around the edge of the pizza. Add a little extra cheese around the hot dogs. bake for 25 minutes at 350 °F

Place almonds in the mouth of the head to create teeth. Cover with basil leaves and mini mozzarella balls. Place dots of tomato sauce on half of the mini mozzarella balls and pesto sauce on the other half. Put small pieces of black olives in the sauce to create eyes.

Sweet Potato and Marshmallow Pie

(310 ml) unbleached all-purpose flour

(75 ml) pecans

(30 ml) icing sugar

salt

(60 ml) chilled unsalted butter, cubed

(60 ml) ice water

(180 ml) cooked, chilled sweet potato flesh (about 1 small sweet potato)

(180 ml) sugar

cinnamon

nutmeg

ginger

eggs

(250 ml) 35% or 15% cream

(250 g/1/2 lb) large marshmallows, approximately

In a food processor, combine the flour, pecans, icing sugar and salt. Add the butter and pulse until the butter is the size of peas. Add the water and pulse until the dough just begins to hold together. Add water if necessary. Remove the dough from the food processor and shape by hand into a disc.

On a floured surface, roll the dough into a disc large enough to line a 23-cm (9-inch) pie plate. Line the pie plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

Pecan crust

In a food processor, purée the sweet potato, sugar and spices until smooth. Add the eggs and cream and process until smooth.

Scrape the filling into the pie shell and bake until the filling is barely set, about 35 minutes.

With the rack in the middle position, preheat the broiler.

Top the pie with a tightly packed layer of marshmallows. Brown under the broiler, 1 or 2 minutes. Watch the pie closely, as marshmallows start to burn quickly. To serve, cut the pie with a damp blade.

A refaire c’est certain! Très bon goût, la pâte est vraiment bonne . J’ai mis des petites guimauves sur le dessus question de diminuer le sucre . Pourrait se faire sans les guimauves et serait très bonne aussi ! Merci !

Super bonne!  Nous l'avons testé sortie du four, encore un peu chaude, sans guimauve, c'était super bon!  On l'essais avec la guimauve sous peu, et je ne doute pas du bon gout qu'elle aura!

La recette de tarte est très bonne et ça ressemble à de la la tarte à la cirtouille. La texture était parfaite. Par contre, je ne trouve pas que les guimauves soient nécessaires.

Elle est succulente! Mes enfants ont adoré (4 ans et 1 an)
C'est facile à faire et en plus elle donne une portion de légumes!!
J'ai utilisé des guimauves multicolores, c'était beau en couleur!

Pre-heat oven at 400°F

Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain. Mix in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and let cool.

While the pasta is boiling, brush the inside of a 9-inch springform pan with olive oil. While the pasta is boiling, brush the inside of a 9-inch springform pan with olive oil, cover the bottom and sides on the outside with foil, and place it on top of a baking sheet (this will help with leakage)

In a separate bowl, mix ½ cup Parmesan with the sauce. Add remaining Parmesan to the rigatoni and toss until the pasta is coated.

Tilt the pan against a pot or bowl, then layer the pasta into the pan until it is filled. Adjust as needed so that they stand on their ends, then set the pan on its bottom. Pour half the sauce, and cover with plastic wrap. Then tap the pan on the counter to work the sauce inside the pasta.

Remove wrap, add remaining sauce, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove; top with shredded mozzarella.

Bake 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden. Remove, add mozzarella rounds, and put back in for 2 minutes or until they are just barely melted.

Slice ends from olives (or punch with a straw). Press olives into the melted cheese. Allow the pie to rest for 10 to 15 minutes, then remove the outer ring and slice to serve.

Come over to the dark side with these violaceous garlic mashed potatoes.

In order to retain the the deepest color from the potatoes, boil them whole with skins on. Select potatoes that are similar in size to ensure even cooking.  Add whole, unpeeled potatoes into a large pot, add enough water to cover the potatoes with an inch of water above them. Add garlic cloves to the pot.

Bring pot to boil and cook potatoes until you are able to stick a knife through them easily, approximately 30-35 minutes. However the time will vary depending on how big or small your potatoes are, so after 25 minutes begin piercing your potatoes to check for doneness.

Turn off heat, drain potatoes, reserve garlic and transfer it to a large bowl. The potatoes will be very hot so use pot holders to hold them while you gently scrape the potato skins off with a butter knife.  Add the peeled potatoes into the bowl containing the garlic and roughly mash together.

Add butter, sour cream, buttermilk and milk to the mashed potatoes and garlic and beat until smooth. Add more milk until you get your desired consistency. Salt and pepper generously to taste.
