balsamic vinegar

Dijon mustard

Tablespoon honey

salt & pepper (to taste)

Combine all ingredients in a bowl or jar and shake or whisk until combined and smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

6 Healthy Salad Dressing Recipes

almond butter

water

lemons, juiced

ginger

turmeric

tbsp maple syrup (or dates

salt

garlic powder

tsp black pepper

tahini

tbsp dijon mustard

tsp salt

avocado oil

dairy free milk

red wine vinegar

tbsp dijon mustarrd

Italian seasoning

tbsp rice wine vinegar

tbsp apple cider vinegar

tbsp coconut aminos

tbsp sesame oil

cayenne pepper

raw cashews (soaked, see notes)

garlic olive oil garlic

chives

tsp Chipotle Powder

tsp smoked paprika

parsley

dill

avocado

limes, juiced

cilantro

cumin

Add the ingredients for the recipe to a high speed blender

Blend on high until fully incorporated

Store in a glass container in the fridge for 1 week.

Easy, eggless Caesar Salad Dressing using the core ingredients which make up the classic: lemon + parmesan + anchovies, lightened up with Greek yogurt.

Skinny Caesar Dressing

Parmigiano Reggiano

lemon juice

garlic clove

anchovy fillets

tbsp extra virgin olive oil

tbsp fat free Greek yogurt

In the bowl of a food processor add the cheese, the lemon juice, garlic clove, mustard and the anchovies.

Turn the machine on and let it run for 15 to 20 seconds.

Add the oil and yogurt and let the machine run for another 15 seconds.

5 Minute Cilantro Avocado Dressing - made with easy ingredients like cilantro, avocado, Greek yogurt, garlic, and lime juice.

Five Minute Avocado Cilantro Dressing

Greek yogurt

water (more as needed to adjust consistency)

cilantro leaves

garlic

lime juice

Pulse all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth. Voila!

This dressing looks yummy!  I would rather make my own dressing than buy storebought anyday!  The ingredients are fresh and there are no preservatives.

One of our favorite healthy salad dressings! Creamy, low fat poppy seed dressing paired with ultimate grilled chicken salad is a main salad lunch or light dinner idea that you will make over and over again.

10 Healthy Salad Dressings - Grilled Chicken Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

plain yogurt (I used 2%)

maple syrup

tsp white (apple cider or rice vinegar)

poppy seeds

onion powder

black pepper (to taste)

large boneless & skinless chicken breast (cut in half lengthwise)

olive oil (extra virgin)

lemon (zest and juice of)

garlic (grated)

oregano

Mixed baby greens

raspberries (strawberries

grape tomatoes (cut in halves)

feta or goat cheese (crumbled)

mixed nuts (unsalted)

red onion (thinly sliced)

To make poppy seed dressing: In a small bowl add yogurt, maple syrup, vinegar, mustard, poppy seeds, onion powder, salt and pepper. Stir well with a fork to combine. Set aside.

To make grilled chicken: In a large bowl add chicken, olive oil, lemon zest and juice, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. ; Stir with tongs and let marinate for 30 minutes.

Grill on medium high heat (450 degrees F) for 10 minutes, flipping once. Rest under foil for 5 minutes.

To make grilled chicken salad: In a large salad bowl, add greens, sliced grilled chicken breast, raspberries, tomatoes, feta, nuts and red onion.

Drizzle with healthy poppyseed dressing and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.

In a food processor, place the cilantro, garlic, lime juice, maple syrup, coriander, and salt and pulse to combine. With the blade running, pour in the olive oil and process until smooth.

Make it creamy (optional) - Blend with 1 avocado or ½ cup plain whole milk Greek yogurt.

Mince the garlic. Thinly slice the green onions.

Place all ingredients in a food processor, smaller blender or the cup of an immersion blender (also works in a standard blender). Blend to combine. Taste and add another pinch of salt if necessary. Transfer to an airtight container; the dressing stores in the refrigerator for 1 week.
