Ultimate Homemade Dry Rub for Pork and Chicken

brown sugar

smoked paprika

black pepper

cumin

onion powder

garlic powder

cayenne pepper

Combine Ingredients

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl. Transfer to an air tight serving container (like a mason jar or other dry rub container). Will keep for up to a year if sealed tight and kept in a cool place.

A delicious Cajun spice dry rub blend which is the perfect amount of hot and has a bit of sweetness. I use this all the time for pork or chicken on the barbeque. The smoked paprika really compliments the smoke flavor of the wood chips in the grill. Store it in an airtight container and use it over and over again!
