(3.4 vanilla pudding mix

(8 oz) container Cool Whip

Nilla wafers (15 for regular sized)

In the bottom of 3 glass jars, neatly arrange the wafers (about 6 mini or 3 regular per jar). They can overlap.

In a bowl, briskly whisk milk and instant pudding.

Add sweetened condensed milk and 4 oz. of Cool Whip. Whisk until smooth.

Pour the mixture over the wafers.

Add more wafers and now add bananas on top.

Finally, with the remaining 4 oz. of Cool Whip, put a healthy dollop on top of each parfait and finished with some crushed wafers. Enjoy!

In a large clean bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer, combine heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract, and beat until the cream is light, fluffy, and holds stiff peaks (when you lift the beater straight out, the cream should stand up and form peaks that hold their shape and don&#039;t flop over at the tip). Set aside (if using your stand mixer, transfer whipped cream to a different container while you make the pudding).

Whipped Cream

In a separate large bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer, beat softened cream cheese until completely smooth.

Add half of the sweetened condensed milk and beat until completely mixed and there are no lumps of cream cheese remaining, stopping once or twice to scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl. Beat in remaining sweetened condensed milk.

Add milk and instant pudding mix and beat on high for 2 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom once halfway through, until well-mixed.

Add half of the whipped cream (approximately, you don’t need to measure it) to your pudding mixture, and fold it in until the mixture is uniform in color and no streaks remain.

Pudding

To assemble, layer wafers, banana slices, pudding, and whipped cream into individual glasses, doing two layers of each.

Chill for at least 2 hours*, up to 24, serve, and enjoy!

Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat liner. Note: depending on the size of your baking sheet, you may need to use two.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, dry pudding mix, baking soda, and salt together. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl with a handheld electric mixer (or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment) cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl, if needed to make sure that no bits are left behind. Then add in the egg and almond extract and continue beating together until just combined.

Next, add in the dry ingredients and with your mixer on the lowest setting, slowly mix everything until just combined- being careful not to over mix the dough. Lastly, toss in the sprinkles and mix together again until everything is incorporated and just combined.

Use a medium-sized cookie scoop to scoop the dough into balls. I like to scoop the dough into the scooper and then press it in to make sure it&#8217;s full. Then I simply drop it out onto my baking sheet. Note&#8211; I prefer not to roll the dough into balls (the former method I mentioned helps to create those aesthetic cookie ripples on the surface) but you certainly can if you like. Place the cookie dough balls about 2 inches apart from each other to make room for spreading.

Bake the cookies for 10-11 minutes. The cookies will look undercooked upon coming out but will continue &#8220;cooking&#8221; as they sit. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and then use a spatula to transfer them onto a wire rack to continue cooling.

Serve the funfetti pudding cookies (with milk of choice, if desired) and enjoy!

This classic rum cake recipe, built around a yellow cake mix, is a favorite of mushers and snowmobilers passing through the village of Tanana, Alaska, in the wintertime. It's hard to mess up, comes together quickly, fills out a (prepared) Bundt pan reliably and can be made on a whim with ingredients from the pantry. It travels well; keeps, covered, for several days; and pairs nicely with coffee and cold weather.

60 milliliters water

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch Bundt cake pan, scatter the nuts evenly into the bottom of the pan, and set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, oil and rum. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the thickest part of the cake comes out with just a few crumbs attached.

While the cake bakes, make the glaze: In a small saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, rum and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.

Cake keeps (and improves, some say), wrapped and refrigerated, up to 3 days.

Is there a VANILLA instant pudding recipe?  I sometimes don't want chocolate.

I love to try it but not sure how much the quick cornstarch is. I think you said quick and canning cornstarch. Any idea how much

I have no idea how long ago recipe was published, but, in Dec2023 when you google "instant pudding recipe" (prefaced by "DIY, "homemade"...anything that should indicate one wishes to make an INSTANT pudding mix rather than a COOKED pudding mix), the first thing you read in the instructions is "in a small pan over medium heat"...sigh.

Anyway, I could find only a couple that are ACTUALLY instant...this one (yours) is my go to, so THANK YOU not only for the recipe itself, but also that the recipe is true to its title.

I love having my own homemade instant chocolate pudding mix for convenience. When it's hot you hate to turn on the stove. No need with instant pudding! I found trying to use my stand mixer and whisk attachment made the pudding too fluffy if it's turned up too high. So I use a stick blender to make the pudding smooth without making it too light &amp; fluffy. Works great!
