Kale, Apple, & Banana Smoothie

apple, (chopped)

banana, (chopped and frozen)

leaves of kale, (ribs and stems removed)

orange juice

ice, (if desired)

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Add more orange juice or ice to get desired consistency.

Quick Kale Apple Smoothie

kale leaves, stems reserved

tbsp chia seeds

tbsp ground flaxseed

choice of milk ((or yogurt))

Gather and prepare all ingredients. Add to a blender and puree until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender and puree a few more seconds.

Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator in a sealed container for 1-2 days.

green apple (sliced, about 2 1/2 cups)

curly kale (stems removed)

oat milk

vegan yogurt

2-3 medjool dates (30-45 grams, pitted)

lemon juice (juice of about 1/2 lemon)

ginger (optional)

Slice the green apple to remove the core and remove the large stems from the curly kale.

Then, add the green apple, kale, ice, oat milk, vegan yogurt, dates, lemon juice, and optional ginger to a blender.

Blend at a high speed until all the ingredients have been broken down and the smoothie is thick and smooth.

Serve and enjoy!
