Korean Ground Beef Recipe (Easy, Keto, &amp; Low-Carb)

coconut oil

garlic (minced)

ginger root

Keto Soy Sauce (see notes)

sesame oil

red chili pepper flakes

sesame seeds (garnish)

Cauliflower Rice (optional)

Lettuce or cabbage wraps (optional)

Sauté

Warm oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute.

Add the meat and stir fry until browned and cooked to your liking.

Combine

Combine soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl. Pour over meat and simmer for 2-3 minutes until reduced and thickened.

Season

Season with red hot chili pepper flakes, mix well.

Serve

Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve warm with cauliflower rice and/or lettuce or cabbage wraps.

Question - I like or would like to do this as a lettuce wrap. Are bean sprouts keto? I think I would want to add some stir-fried cabbage and sprouts to my lettuce wrap. Sort of like an egg roll in a lettuce wrap!

Warm butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and bell pepper for about 5 minutes until soft.

Cook

Add the ground beef and taco seasoning to the skillet. Break the meat apart with a spatula as needed. Cook while occasionally stirring, about 5 minutes to lightly brown the meat.

Mix tomatoes into the meat. Bring the liquid to a simmer. Continue cooking everything for another minute or two.

Reduce the heat to low. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the meat. Cover the skillet with a lid and continue warming until the cheese melts completely. Remove from heat and garnish with cilantro. Serve warm with optional Cauliflower Rice.

Italian Beef and Cauliflower Rice Skillet Recipe

butter (divided)

cauliflower rice (10-16 ounces)

bone broth (beef

Italian Seasoning

tomato paste (sugar-free)

heavy cream

salt

black pepper

mozzarella cheese (divided)

parsley (minced)

Warm 1 tablespoon of butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sauté cauliflower rice for 2 minutes, until beginning to brown. Add broth, cover the skillet with a lid, and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Cauliflower is done once it&#39;s fork tender. Remove from heat, drain any remaining liquid, and set aside.

Return the skillet to the stovetop over medium heat. Add the second tablespoon of butter and sauté onion and garlic for 2 minutes or so until soft and fragrant.

Raise the heat to medium-high and add ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula as needed. Season with Italian seasoning. Cook until lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Mix in the tomato paste, cream, ¼ cup of shredded cheese, salt and pepper. Continue stirring until cheese melts and sauce forms.

Add the cooked cauliflower rice to the skillet. Mix well to combine

Place the skillet under the oven broiler for 1-3 minutes until the cheese melts completely. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Everyone seems to love  it and I will definitely try it but I have a question...
in the ingredient list, it says to divide the mozzarella, but the directions say to mix all of it into the meat. Maybe we're supposed to use half and top it with the other half when it goes under the broiler...
I guess either way probably works fine.

Delicious and fast!  Added some frozen green beans and sun dried tomatoes to the cauliflower rice since I was out of parsley to add flavor and color.  Great recipe for meal prepping lunches for work as well as a dinner.  I will definitely make again!  Very filling!
