Move everything from the baking sheet to a food processor fitted with the S-shaped blade. Don’t forget all of the remaining oil and juice from the pan! A lot of the flavor is in this liquid and it needs to be blended into the salsa. Pour in the remaining ½ Tablespoon olive oil. Pulse until you reach the texture you prefer. Taste, and add additional salt to taste preference. Pulse to combine.

Easy Corn Salsa

(Frozen,

Peppers (Variety of red, green, yellow and orange)

Tomatoes (Finely chopped, Seeds removed)

Red onions (Finely chopped)

Jalapeno (Finely chopped, Seeds removed)

2-3 tbsp Cilantro (Roughly chopped)

Lime juice (Or lemon juice)

Salt (To taste)

Pepper (To taste)

Garlic powder

Ginger powder

Paprika

In a large mixing bowl, add corn, peppers, tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic, ginger, paprika.

Mix everything together.

Cover and chill in the fridge for 20-30 minutes to let the flavors deepen. Enjoy!

PICO DE GALLO | How to Make Authentic Mexican Salsa Recipe

This authentic spicy serrano salsa uses traditional Mexican techniques to make the perfect spicy and fresh salsa. This spicy and tangy salsa is the perfect pairing with everything from quesadillas to tacos and much more! (Makes 1 cup)

Spicy Serrano Salsa Verde

tomatillos

water

chiles de árbol

cilantro

salt

Remove tomatillos from husks and wash to remove the sticky residue.

Add tomatillos and serrano to saucepot and add water.

Boil on high heat for 15 minutes, until tomatillos and serrano are cooked through and turned a more yellow color.

Allow boiled tomatillos and serrano, in their cooking liquid, to cool down.

Add boiled tomatillos and serrano to the blender with ¼ cup of the cooking liquid, chiles de árbol, cilantro and salt.

Blend for 30-60 seconds, until completely blended and smooth.

Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately or allow flavors to sit in the fridge (cover the bowl) for a few hours.

Reminder: salsas get spicier as they sit, so while the habanero mango salsa may be mild or medium to begin with, it may get to a more hot level of heat over time.

Add the onion, garlic and jalapeno to the food processor first. These ingredients will be chopped finer if they&#039;re on the bottom.

Then add the drained tomatoes, green chilies (no need to drain), cilantro, lime juice and salt.

Pulse

Pulse in one second increments. Keep pulsing until the salsa is well-blended, but still a little chunky.

Season

Season to taste with additional salt, or lime juice, if needed.

Serve

Serve the salsa immediately or store it for later.

Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse a few times until no large chunks remain.

Taste and adjust seasonings, if needed, to taste.

For best flavor, refrigerate salsa for at least 1-2 hours before serving. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.

This recipe makes a little less than 6 cups of salsa. I like to fill 3 pint jars and and share with friends and neighbors.

Made this yesterday with fresh chopped jalapenos, destemed, deseeded. Leaves a bit of an afterbite, but maybe a 2nd chopped jalapeno for a little more heat. But still excellent. Putting it on my homemade tamales using your recipe for the tamales and the red chili sauce with pork filling. Finishing up my third batch tomorrow in less than a week, and have a pork shoulder to start a fourth batch Sunday or Monday. Taking jars of this salsa, along with a jar of your Pico de Gallo, which is excellent, along with a dozen homemade tamales each for my attorney and his assistant on Monday. All excellent...even getting better at wrapping the tamales. Practice makes perfect, well maybe not perfect, but heading in that direction with more sequential batches.

Classic Fresh Pico De Gallo Salsa

In a medium bowl, diced tomatoes, onion, jalapeno pepper, garlic, and chopped cilantro.

Stir in 2 Tbsp lime juice and lightly season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper, or season to taste. Enjoy right away or cover and refrigerate overnight.

How To Make Pico De Gallo (Salsa Fresca)

Salsa macha is a bold and flavorful Mexican chili oil made from dried chilies, oil, garlic, and, depending on the recipe, nuts or seeds.

Easy Salsa Macha Recipe

avocado oil

g chiles de arbol (stemmed)

chiles guajillos (stemmed)

puya chiles (stemmed)

ancho chile (stemmed)

apple cider vinegar

tsp kosher salt

Heat the oil in a medium pan over medium to medium-low heat. 

Lightly toast the chilies in batches, stirring constantly, and remove them as soon as they become fragrant—about 15-20 seconds, depending on the heat of the oil and the size of the dried peppers. 

Be careful not to burn the chilies, as this will create bitterness. Once toasted, remove them from the heat and set them aside.

Sauté the garlic cloves in the oil until they’re golden brown all over, then remove them from the pan. Turn off the heat and let the oil cool completely.

Transfer the chilies, garlic, vinegar, salt, and cooled oil into the blender. Blend until the mixture is finely chopped, but not pureed.

Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for later use.

Authentic Salsa Macha

Making salsa in a molcajete is about as authentic as it gets! It’s not just salsa—it’s tradition in a stone heirloom.

Mexican Salsa in a Molcajete

oz tomatoes (cored)

garlic (peeled)

g chiles de árbol

Kosher salt (to taste)

cilantro (chopped)

Place a comal or cast iron skillet over medium-low heat. Toast the chiles de árbol, turning continuously for 15–20 seconds or just until fragrant. Be careful not to burn them—remove immediately when ready.

Increase the heat to medium. Roast the tomatoes, tomatillos, and 2 unpeeled garlic cloves until charred on all sides, soft and cooked through. Some ingredients may finish roasting sooner than others; remove each as it’s ready.

Peel the roasted garlic and add it to the molcajete along with the raw peeled garlic clove and 1/2 tsp of kosher salt. Grind into a smooth paste.

Next, add the toasted chiles de árbol and grind them down as finely as possible. Mash the tomatillos and tomatoes one at a time until completely broken down. 

Add salt to taste—I used an additional 1/2 tsp of kosher salt.

Lastly, mix in the diced white onion and chopped cilantro with a spoon. Serve and enjoy!

Very good, I used 3 jalapenos (seeded/stemmed), an extra clover of garlic and squeezed half a lime in. Family loves it.
