This slow-cooked beef ragù is perfect for batch-cooking and because it's cooked in the oven it's low effort. Serve three tablespoons of ragù to every 100g/3½oz serving of fresh pasta.

A no-fuss veggie pasta bake packed full of your 5-a-day! Make sure you use a vegetarian-friendly hard cheese if you're cooking for vegetarians.

Each serving provides 598 kcal, 23g protein, 68g carbohydrate (of which 14g sugars), 24g fat (of which 8g saturates), 10g fibre and 0.6g salt.

Roast sweet potato, peppers, courgette and spinach combine to make this easy veggie lasagne. We really do think this is the best vegetable lasagne recipe we've ever tried.

A wonderfully comforting chicken pasta bake, this can be made ahead and will go down really well with the family.

Using sausage meat reduces the cooking time for this traditional dish, but the white wine and cream make sure nothing is lacking in flavour. You don’t need a pasta machine to make your own tagliatelle – if you don’t have one, give it a go with a rolling pin.

Sausage ragù with tagliatelle

I absolutely adore eating this Sicilian pasta cold, should any be left over. It is so easy to make and, being both simple and spectacular, is first on my list for a pasta dish to serve when you have people round.
