Named for the Pegu Club in Malaysia where it originated, apparently this was a big hit between the world wars at the Savoy Club in London. This is a gin drink for non-gin lovers.

Pegu Club

½ oz Lime Juice

oz Gin

Angostura Bitter

¾ oz Orange Liqueur

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake

Shake well for 10-15 seconds or until the outside of the shaker becomes frosted.

Strain

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve.
